What do you guys think about certain rims ? Do you like chrome rims...20's, 22's small rims...I personally like Chromes but the size depends on what kind of car we're talking about...

Hmmm...I like some "pizazz" that chrome gives, but sometimes it's just too much and looks gawdy...Like on the SUV's out nowadays, I'm so frickin' sick of these, these, styless boxes with more silver than fort frickin' knox...On older American "boatmobiles" the chrome was cool, and stylish...Now it's just, "YO I's GOTS MO' CHRIZOME THAN ALL YA"LLSZ@!"
As far as personal taste, I'd go with anywhere from 17 to 19 inchers on a car, have some darker 5 split spoke sporting rims, maybe a little gloss to them. I generally prefer some of the more understated rims...Though some of the excess gawdy stuff is so outlandish I laugh.

I like'em massive 20+" and chomed on trucks, SUVs, and box Chevys.
I like'em painted white or black; or brushed aluminum on sport compacts. I dislike it when the number of spokes isn't a mutiple of the number of bolts, unless of course the bolts are covered by a center cap. Cars w/ 4 bolt patterns look good with 4, 8, or 12 spoke rims, IMO. Cars w/ 5 bolt patterns look good w/ 5 or 10 spoke rims, IMO.

chrome is nasty. reminds me of urban "pimped-out" escalades. ghetto.
i personally like the japanese touring styling rims, not too huge 17's or 18's if the car is bigger, gold, bronze, silver, or gunmetal, with a lip.

Anything which is inspired by the Japanese Tuning Scene. Rays, Regamaster, Advan, all of these are awesome! Gunmetal grey, brushed silver, gold or even white ones are my faves.

I personally don't like deep-dish rims, they look too 'bling-bling' for me, but there are a selected few that do look half-decent. And some widebody cars don't need deep-dish rims, depends how much you embiggen the guards.

do you not even like, say lexani asanti alligator/krystal/vegas/zebra or wolfrace matrix's, chrome vaults, spinners etc. there must be one set of chromes youd take over rays te37's for a cruiser...also rays te37's would only suit particular cars, against a huge selection of chrome wheel

Yes, gunmetal grey wheels do look an absolute beast, but often look pretty poor when teamed up with a very dark colour, like a black or a brown. Gunmetal-grey rims have to on a bright coloured car to maximise it's full crowd-pleasing potential!
