The car is in *MINT* condition. The paint is in EXCELLENT condition. It looks like it's brand new. The engine bay is CLEAN. The interior is near MINT. the drivers side seat has no tears, rips, worn spots, etc in the leather. It has never been to the track. and never raced from a launch (ie, raced from a roll on the highway VERY rarely).

there is one chip above the front wheel well on the passenger side, and a few very minor scratches along the rear bumper from a parking attendant that didn't know how to do his job (hardly noticable, but as i said, i'm VERY VERY picky about my car, and i know every inch of it and the slightest blemish annoys me) there is also a SMALL dent on the rear quarter panel on the drivers side. it's ONLY noticable in the side-view mirror when the light hits it just right... it annoys the ever living sh*t outta me, but it's probably no bigger than a pea. the under-side of the front bumper is scratched up from a bad bottom'ing out i had the first summer i owned the car. it is not noticable unless you are laying under the car looking up at it. the paint around the area is not peeling/flaking/etc. the flaws i pointed out, are not really noticable at all. chances are you won't find many others (if any) in this good of condition (unless they've been recently repainted/repaired).

mechanically, the car is in near-excellent condition also. the turbo's spool up quickly, the car pulls hard WOT, it shifts great. the clutch, throw out bearing, timing belt, and water pump will be replaced before the car is sold.

DETAILS:

Pearl White 1995 3000GT Vr-4

electric sunroof (no ECS)

~120,000 miles (i bought the car with 70,000 miles march 30, 2003.)

clear corners

MITSUBISHI lettering removed off drivers side of the rear bumper

17" Mille Miglia Spider rims with Pirelli Pzero Nero tires (all weather)

smoked front windows... they're not tinted, but the glass itself has a smoke-tint to it.

new door and rear speakers, kenwood, also the stock tweeters started crackling, so new ones are on the way within the next few days.

polished plenum and valve cover (i may keep these, because chances are i will be buying another 3/S, probably in the spring)

the spark plugs were replaced at the same time the polished stuff was installed along with all new gaskets, etc. (approx 25k miles ago)

the thermostat was replaced about 10k miles ago along with flushing the coolant system.

Greddy Type-S BOV

replaced the stock shift boot with a real leather shift boot (dark gray, matches the interior exactly)

bradi slotted rotors

hawk pads (F type?? i forget exactly what they're called) the hawk pads were only installed about 10,000 miles ago.

i can't think of anything else off the top of my head. I'm located in Carmel, NY... 1 hour north of NYC and about 1 and 1/2 - 2 hours south'ish of Albany.

Mechanically and Aesthetically, the car is in BETTER condition than when i bought it (with ~70,000 miles on it March 30, 2003).

price is $15k OBO.

Engine Bay: i will be keeping the polished plenum (and also the clear turn signals for my next car). i have the stock replacements which will be going back on the car within the next few days/before the car is sold. the polished valve cover will stay on the car, and i can also include a polished y-pipe i have which is not installed along with some other misc. modifications i have lying around that i never got a chance to install, if i'm happy with the selling price :) (about $500+ worth of parts)

i could be interested, but you've driven it 50,000 miles in the last year?

130k miles is not good on an old 3000

i did some research looking at blue books, it appears your car is worth $10,155

i did some research looking at blue books, it appears your car is worth $10,155i've done a lot of driving to car meets that are out of state :D lol i was also back and forth to school and home last year when i was dorming (2 hr drive) that racked up most of the miles. it's 95% highway miles, mostly from I-684 (3 lane highway, newly paved, 65mph zone) and cruising in 6th gear. the car just rolled on 121k saturday night on my way home from boston (went to check out a galant vr-4 that will be replacing my vr-4's daily driving duties until my car is sold).

i'm very well aware of the blue book value of the car. however, i paid over book value when i bought it and have no regrets doing so, it's saved me thousands of $$$ in headaches that so many other 3000gt/stealth owners have to deal with (engine problems, turbo problems, and most of all tranny/transfer case problems). my car has given me none of those, and has not been beaten on the entire time i've owned it. it is also 1 of only 13 like it ever made, and you will be very hard pressed to find a 3000gt in this condition with lower miles, let alone one like this at all.

anyone who has seen the car can tell you it's worth more than what kelly blue book says it is. the price is negotiable, however, because i'm hard pressed for money and it has to go asap. if you are really interested, i'd be willing to negotiate the price with you (as well as throw in a few extra parts, etc).

For me, the soonest I could buy your car would be 6 months maybe, because I'd like to do some research, decide if a 3000GT is what i really want, then i'd have to look at other prices, not to mention you live 3000 miles away from me, so shipping would be expen$ive, so if you are looking for a quick deal, then it probably won't be from me, also, if you are llooking for a quick sale, try listing it on ebaymotors ;)

Blue books (red book or for the rich glass guide out here) gives the average prices of all car specs, options and quality so from write offs to show winners.
I scared that someone who cant work this out is going to controll such a machine

blue book also lists the same year, same mileage supra tt for a similar price. however, the supra will fetch $25k easily. so please, don't quote kelly blue book at me. that site is only good when looking at hondas, not hard-to-find performance cars.

look again, if you compare them both at www.kbb.com, you will see that if they are both 1995, 120k miles, manual transmission, turbo, 120k miles, you will see that the 3000GT is 10k and the supra is 16k

and actually, a supra is worth about 16k if it has that many miles

oh, and 12in. - right now i drive a car that has [B]300 more horses than your 3000GT

i know the blue book value of these cars, and in my opinion, and every other enthuiasts' opinion, it's a crock of s h i t.

you're not interested, obviously, that's fine. no need to beat a dead horse.

and congrats on having a faster car. you want a cookie or something?

U 3 are all a bunch of flirts! God forbid....

My uncle once had a GTO/3000GT, it was a Mk 1 with a unique silver body kit and put about 400bhp through all 4 wheels. He sold it cos he could never get replacement parts due to it being an import. The clutch kept slipping too, so he never really exploted the car too much.

BTW Girly VR-4 you have a nice car to bad that you have to sell it . Twin Turbo cars are the best sports car out there

^ hahaha :p

yea, i wish i didn't have to sell it, but, unfortunately, i do. i'll still have a turbo car as a daily driver (galant vr-4) and i will be picking up a stealth tt for fairly cheap as a project once my car is sold. so, it won't be SOOO bad :(
