Why are people not allowed to advertise their sites in the market place section...I'd understand not allowing people to make 800 posts about their site, or posting a site that is pornographic, But why is someone posting their site not ok...?

ckg690, "porscheman" made 4 posts and all of them were advertisements for his commercial website, which isn't allowed.

You can post a link to a site that you think would be of interest to other members IF YOU REALLY NEED TO, but you can't register just to advertise your site or service. It wouldn't be fair to the people that pay for the ads.
I also believe that our members don't want to see posts like this.
