Spy Shot: Honda Civic 2006
Here are the first shots of the 2006 Honda Civic: lower-slung, sportier and altogether less MPV-like than the current car. Expect three- , four- and five-door versions in Europe, and we may also get a Coupe - said to have an S2000-like long nose - this next time around. The European and American versions will share far more components in the new range, in a bid to cut production costs. Hot Type-R and fuel-saving hybrid versions are certain.

Wow, that's a lot of tape.
First impressions, ugly as hell...Looks like a jelly bean with wheels. But not one of those tasty Jelly Belly jelly beans, oh no, one of those deformed one's you find and go, "Ewwwww" right before popping it into your yapper.

Saw this on temple of vtec yesterday.. IMO, it almost looks like an alfa, maybe even too much like an alfa, that it couldn't be a honda.. but anyway, i don't think we'll get this variant in the US, just europe. US would just get the coupe, sedan, and the Si or the CRX, which was said to return in this MY.

I dont like it at all. I think the current civic is the best looking it's going to get. It's just downhill from here.

Nah, I cant see it as a Type-R. Sorry, Honda, its not looking good, take some design cues from the Accord.
