Well last year, for our "surprise" a young guy called Alonso win the F1 championship and Ferrari had to set back and think about his place at the championship... lots of chages going on back in the start of the season, and now with new engines Alonso once again messed up with Ferrari, but two weeks ago M.Schumacher had a reviewed car and star to have great results... so I'll ask you:
Who do you think's gona win this Championship????

(sorry but i don't know how to do that vote thing for you to clik in it)

My opinion is that M.Schumacher have better chances and he "knows-how" to win and to drive, besides Alonso who are really young and last year had lots of luck!!!

I say Alonso. He's got the fastest car on the grid, and he is just as fast, or faster, than Schumacher. He has finished as number 1, 2 or 3 in the last... 11 races, if I remember it right. Also, he is more often on pole position, he is faster from the start etc.

i say alonso...
schumi won't win....his performance was real bad....he can only win if some miracle happens...

First I need to say something about the past few posts:

Alonso hasn't got the fastest car, the Ferrari is just as fast as the Renault.
Alonso isn't more often on pole, infact the Nürburgring pole was his first one of the season.
Schumachers performance bad? two poles, two victories and 1 second place in 5 races isn't the best you can do, but bad? Uhm, no.

Now, who I think will become F1 champion. Well, it could be either Michael or Fernando. I think the distance between Kimi and Fernando is too big(21 points). First of all because the Renault is very reliable, and second because of the difference between first and second.

So it's down to Schumi and Alonso. Who will win? Not a clue. Ferrari has made the right changes to the car, so they are very competitive now. If they can keep the pace they had at the last GP, then I predict a very exciting season.

Oh, I hope offcourse that Schumacer wins his 8th championship!

schumi's performance was much better b4.
10 wins in 11 races compared to 1 in 5
^^(correct me if i am wrong)

Schumi's performance was terrible last year with 1 "win" in 19 races.

But that's not relevant here. It's about what is going on now, and now with that performance he is second in the ranking. So that means he did a pretty good job.

Since Everybody is saying Alonso...I think he could win the Cup...but remember he got two rival , Shumi and Kimi...but I don't think Kimi should be Alonso's rival this year...

So what do you think about the constructer's championship ?

CarRocker I tottaly agree with you... i also think that Ferrari made the write modifications on their car, but Renault is aware from those changes and perhaps will see sone some changes to Alonso s car, i think that will have a great competition this year and quite interesting to!!!

About next race i won't be surprised if Alonso wins becaus he will be racing at "home" and he'll have lots of support by his fans and others... but i'm curious to see what Kimi and Schumacher will to to fight that!!

thank you all for showing your opinions!!!

I think Kimi is still in with a shout. I don't count off Montoya or Fisi yet either, I know the gap is big, but who knows what might happen, there are still plenty of races left. Schimi and Alonso may crash into each other at the next race, who knows? I think Micheal should win this year, but it will be close. I hope Rosberg picks up some more pace and I would like Kimi to win his first championship. Who knows...

After losing his title last year, I belive Shumi will be win this year, he now has summing to prove. Havent they changed the rules regarding tires/engines again?

I would say Kimi R. could take it on ONE CONDITION:

Mclaren, it seems, makes the fastest cars ... but they are too damn unreliable. The engine blows so often and if they could just improve on their reliability, I definately think Mclarens are fast enough, and Kimi is skilled enough, to take it all.

To finish first, first you must finish.

^^^^ It is really true of any racing event. How are you supposed to come 1st if you don't finish?

Thats not completely true, if you're ahead of a rival in the championship and its down to the last race of the season, points are neck and neck, u take him out! That way neither of u finish, but u win the championship. I neva did anything like that tho.... honest!

True ... but lets simplify the saying so its only for one race, not a whole championship, then it makes sense.

Dont worry, we all believe you ... ;)
