i think that car requires muscle to handle.those tires r thick.the guy who buys with will either keep it for show or have a hard time driving it.

Doesn't this look fun? That's the bridge turn at Rd ATL 2001.

The price is way high. Unless a fan reeeally likes the little weenie; the car is worth $45-50,000 USD.

This guy, http://www.genefeltonrestorations.com/, has 50 wins in professional American road racing; second only to the late Al Holbert. He's driven everything. He even got a 2nd in GT class at LeMans... in a BB Camaro, LOL! He sells and restores vintage race cars these days. He drove a #24 Jeffie car at Goodwood in '04. LOTS of kewl pics on his site.

Don't all Nascar fans hate Jeff Gordon?

HAHAHAHA...that's true for the majority of NASCAR fans, especialy the "older school" ones. The only Jeffy fans I've ever met were ones who are very very new to racing. And thats true even out here on the west coast, I can't imagine what it must be like in Alabama! LOL
Two years ago Jeff one the Aarons 499 at Talladega, it was contraversial, ending under caution (before green, white, checkered rule) anyhow they called it for Jeff (instead of Earnhardt).....seconds later thousands of cans came raining down on Jeff's his parade! not to mention all the jeers.

The majority of even halfazz serious NASCAR fans hate jeffie. He needs Brinks to get him in and out of Talladega. The majority of his fans are chicks and children.

My boss had a picture of himself with jeffie taken at some DuPont (we sell a lot of paint) sponsored luncheon a few years ago. It hung on the ticket board behind the counter. He caught so much hell from his employees and customers ("Who's that pretty boy squeeze with jeffie in that picture?"); he gave it away, LOL!

zeyk; NASCAR cars have had power steering for 15 years.

^^I have a picture of Jeffy right after he won the pole at Infineon...OMG he's a friggin midget! lol!

SteveFX, Zyke- Although.... now and then a car will lose it's power steering and that does requires a lot of muscle to handle it. I believe the last one to win a race without power steering was Ryan Newman, about 2 years ago.

Question: why do they hate Jeff Gordon?

That's a short question, with a long answer. There are countless reasons.
Here are some I hear people say: (not nessisarily do I agree with all these.)
-Pouts like a 7 year old child when ever he loses.
-Has started the "new, young driver movment" (bringing in inexperienced kids, that don't respect the vets of the sport.)
-He is rather oppisite to most "old school" drivers. Being from california, not the Carolina foothills.
-He has moved the sport from the short-tracks of the South, to streets of Hollywood California.
-He started off his carrer with extreme LUCK on his side. (and a lot of MONEY.)

I own an 'ANYONE BUT JEFF' t-shirt and wear it regularly. The dude is like the 'kid rock' of NASCAR...violating the very fabric of a tried and tested tradition. In other words , he's a self centered yutz who needs to get over himself.

There were rumours that he was gay and that he only married brooke to save NASCAR a pr nightmare...imagine homosexuality in NASCAR? A true redneck rampage that would be.
