Does anyone know the current standings for this year in WRC? I can't find it, and theres no TV coverage that I have seen.

Also,,, I herd that Mitsubishi have withdrew from the sport, Along with as some other teams! Anyone hear that??:-k

the only 2 factory teams still in the WRC season this year are Subaru and Ford, and the last time i checked Loeb was in the front of the standings...like always

yes Mitsu is out cause they need to work on making CARS that dont kill people and not racing at this moment. Subaru is losing very badly. Peter has very bad luck. Loeb is winning i think and Ford is doing very well except for that turbocharger problem. rally of Germany is aug 11. WRC WROXS! that was random :D

I'm a huge rally fan, bloody annoying that there hasn't been any coverage of it on ITV though, I really wanted to see it.

No surprises that Loeb is at the top of the standing, and yes, lots of teams have withdrew, the factory Peugeot, Citroen and Mitsubishi have withdrew from the sport to develop their cars for the 2007 or 2008 season, and Citroen's car I have heard, is going to be extrmelely good; it's the C4 model.

I wish the Mini Cooper S would be put in the WRC. Like in the 60's, even though now they're only FWD and supercharged.

There is a serious lack of rally action on Australian commercial television. I quite like the sport but its rarely shown and when they do show it I am either at work or have other commitments.

They used to have quite a lot on RPM and Speedweek but yeah now they hardly show any racing just a quick round-up if we're lucky.

When the Rally of Canberra is on it's always good to be there especially cause the Stromlo stages are only 5 mins away from my house and the bushfires cleared the forest so you can see everything now.

there is coverage on ITV, but i think it is on late at night so you have to record it which is really annoying (unless you stay up until like 12.30am)

Yeah, some rallies on the other side of the world are on at ridiculous hours like that.

What's stopping them from showing at normal hours on ITV on a Sunday afternoon like they did a few months ago?

Actually they show WRC all the weekend and all the days of the rally and that would be kinda difficult to do :)
We, here in Greece have a TV channel that shows the rallies but at the previous rally all Greek channels showed the race cause it was Rally Acropolis :D
Anyway about '06 championship, I dont think Loeb is going to lose it.
He already made a gap, but who am I to say?

You should order SPEED channel. It usually has WRC coverage.

In 2005, AXN tv has the complete coverage of the WRC, and i like it a LOT.......but now ESPN has the rights again, and really HATE it.....im just lost almost all my interest in WRC because of that =(

Well I've watched two rallies in two weeks now, but ITV hadn't stopped showing it, the WRC just finished their eight week (two month) break, so that's why the sport wasn't covered for so long.
