Anyone after World Touring Car Championship?
Its a very interesting championship that turned to "WorldTCC" before some years after Chevrolet and some other brands joined.
It was EuropeanTCC before with Only Alfa Romeo, BMW and SEAT racing.
In the current Championship LADA joined too...They dont have points from the first races though but its their first year and I am really happy that the Russians is up to races after doses of years.
At the moment the leader of the championship is Seat, 2nd is BMW 3rd is Alfa Romeo and 4th is Chevrolet.
More infos can be found here:http://www.fiawtcc.com
Take care :D

Priaulx is still racing in the WTCC, in fact he is in the lead right now.
WTCC is great, close racing lots of different winners. The first 10 drivers are within 20 points of each other(F1: 83 points)
I also like that the winner of the first race starts 8th in the second(2nd starts 7th, 3rd starts 6th, 4th starts 5th, 5th starts 4th etc.)
Schumi, Lada have prepared a car to compete, but haven't shown up at a race yet.

So it's a bit like BTCC (British Touring Car Championship) with diferent manufacturers and drivers, etc.
How much horsepower do the cars in WTCC have? Because then I could compare it to the cars in the BTCC.

Yeah, LADA's car is ready but I think they didnt have the aprovement from FIA yet or something like that.
All I wanted to point is that reborn of LADA.Actually not reborn cause LADA wasnt a race brand ever but they are doing a good job atm.

Such beautiful cars. I live in america and all we get is NASCAR and IRL. :\
I found a good site that carry some good world racing. I just download the WRC ones, I don't know if the others work. http://www.motorsport-torrents.info/

Aha, that's why there hasn't been a WRC for a long time.....it says on the site posted above that there is a summer break in WRC.
Can't wait for it to get under way, I'm getting withdrawal symptoms from WRC;)
I'm going to the last checkpoint of the last stage of the last rally, which is in Wales, so I get to see the driver who wins the title get out of his car, celebrate like mad, hug all the fans and I might get an autograph of him if I'm lucky!!!!!

WTCC rules! All touring car championships are good. Much better than boring F1 and Nascar
EDIT: Anyone got any pics of the LADA?
EDIT AGAIN: Thanks Schumi

Sure but they are small...And yet without any commercials on it.
But the car that will race is this:

Types of Car
The BTCC in 2006 can be contested by cars complying with two different sets of technical regulations: ‘BTC Touring’ and ‘Super 2000’. BTC is the specification of car that has populated the BTCC grid since new, cost-cutting technical regulations came into force in 2001. S2000 cars run to the same technical regulations that are used in the FIA’s World Touring Car Championship.
So yeah, BTCC and WTCC are about the same

Nor me. It's called freeview for God's sake, not some-of it-is-free-view.
What's the point of putting those channels on freeview anyway, it just makes us even more frustrated, seeing that they're there, right infront of our eyes, but we can't have them:(
Probably some marketing to make us give in and pay for the channels.
