Sorry to double post, but just to let you know that de la Rosa will be racing for McLaren in Brazil, which ends all speculation about lewis Hamilton taking the seat.

good news or bad news.no idea.unless the boys @ mclaren make their car reliable, there is no use who races for em.
i have a feeling massa will win and schumi will be second followed by mr.xyz and alonso in 9+spot.

A lot of things can happen to Alonso, and a lot of things can happen to Schumacher.
I reckon Schumacher will give a final push, and so will Kimi, but sorry to all those McLaren fans, but they don't really have a hope in hell of winning, unless something really upsets the pecking order.
Michelin tyre blow up for Alonso round the last corner, anyone?
zeyk
Oct 13, 2006, 3:20 PM
maybe...i want the friggin first corner.....lol.

Just remember what happened with the Williams and the Red Bulls getting sandwiched at the first corner, anything can happen.
zeyk
Oct 13, 2006, 3:31 PM
remember even schumi once got screwed in the first turnnnn
*GULP*
what did i just say.no......
bennyboy
Oct 13, 2006, 3:33 PM
I hope Schumacher doesn't get screwed at the first turn. It would be absolutely devastating to watch by the barriers, your arch rival just taking the title away from you. Each lap he goes past you, he's laughing, he's jeering, he's sniggering.
Oh what an awful feeling that must be.
zeyk
Oct 13, 2006, 4:32 PM
man that's scary.i hope alonso watches the race from the pits....;)

Or from a gravel trap on the big screens by the start finish straight!

*The Theory*
When Schumacher's engine blew up, unlike most over drivers who would pull over immediately he didn't. The reason why? He wanted to spill oil on the track to so Alonso would spin off.
This is only a theory! But I can see why people would think it, and he didn't exactly come off straight away did he?
Hmmmm

I can see your point there Kaz, but it's pretty radical.
Watch this clip here (http://http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O_BX3J6crQc) and you'll find that yes, he does carry on driving when his engine blew up.
But if he pulled off when his engine blew up straight away, he's in the gravel trap, the car would need a lot f tuggint to get it out, and it's in an extremely dangerous area. If someone slips wide, they go into the gravel trap and straight into Schumacher's car. The position he landed poised no oppurtunity for any dangerous incidents.

cheeky is gonna kill schumi i guess.everyone wants to win....if they can't,they just stop their rival from finishing.simple.

I want Trulli to finish ahead of Alonso. Or Alonso blow up. Or Massa put Alonso off the track..
I want a Schumacher win!

The better man and car combiantion will win. u guys have to keep in mind this. As for Schumis engine in Brazil since is the last race they wont need to make the engine reliable for to races but for one. This means the engineers at Ferrari S.P.A. will squeeze the most power from it for this race. I dont know about Renault but if they are in the same boat as Ferrari they will sertainly do the same. So lets see who wins this one.....
zeyk
Oct 15, 2006, 3:41 PM
ferrari shud be càreful while squeezing out more power coz if they overdo it.......bammm!!
same as what happened in japan.engine blowout!
bennyboy
Oct 15, 2006, 3:54 PM
Yeah, but Schumacher's got nothing to lose. He's got one engine, he can squeeze just about everything he's got into it. If he wins the race, good. If he blows up, not all's bad, he's guaranteed second place.
zeyk
Oct 15, 2006, 4:00 PM
like senna said...second place is the first one to lose....
i don't think michael will want to miss this shot...u knoe nething can happen.

Come on, he could have got out of Alonso's way and come off before then. I know you know it's possible!
zeyk
Oct 15, 2006, 6:53 PM
yes i knoe and u too knoe that ppl do anything for victory.....and that's what schumi had to do.now alonso was never in a situation like that.lucky brat.but soon it'll run out....and i am w8ing to see that.

Oct 16, 2006, 11:51 AM
If Alonso lasts as long as Schumacher has done in F1 (which I totally doubt) then yes, he will have to come across situations like that, but he hasn't yet. Next year I think he will have to be fighting off some very different teams, because McLaren won't be a title contender next year I don't think.
zeyk
Oct 16, 2006, 3:10 PM
with a short-tempered guy like alonso behind the wheel...uh uh.not gonna last for long.
!ChEeKy GiRl!
Oct 16, 2006, 3:44 PM
Short tempered?
he can't be that short tempered, he kept Shumacher behind for about 14 laps, you need to be concentrated to do that...
zeyk
Oct 16, 2006, 3:50 PM
ya but when ur car gets screwed u need to keep ur cool as well.

You can understand his frustration though
How annoying must that be, so close yet so far.
bennyboy
Oct 16, 2006, 3:53 PM
What frustration for Alonso? I thought everything's in the bag? Schuamcher's the one with frustration, watching Alonso virtually take the title with a race that he 100% did not deserve to win.
zeyk
Oct 16, 2006, 3:55 PM
well f1 is not the only thing that got the 1,2 battle....apparently..motogp has the same problem now.
nicky hayden crashed out (thanks to his partner pedrosa) and rossi came second.rossi is 8 points ahead of nicky now.and only one race left.

The person who crosses the line first wins end of. I don't car who deserves it, it's not the point!

Oct 16, 2006, 3:56 PM
I remember that, Hayden was practically crying, at least Pedrosa had the balls to admit on live TV that he f*cked up.
When has Alonso ever admitted he f*cked up? When something goes wrong with him, it's only the team. When Schumacher f*cks up, the team f*cks up aswell, it's not one or the other.
zeyk
Oct 16, 2006, 4:18 PM
the "team" can get ur car ready...then it's up2 u to pilot it....and then the "team" does it's work back in the pits...one depends on the other.
u screw up...everyone does.u screw up and blame it one the team..uh uh.not fair.

Alonso was getting weak, now he's probably at the point of his powers now that he knows that championship is tantalisingly close.
He hasn't been driving very good this season though, he only drove OK in the first third.

All good things come to an end, but sometimes I wish there were exceptions. Schumacher was the greatest.
And yes, it's a great comback. I don't think a team could overcome a 25 point deficit just over the summer.
After Brazil I'll be creating a thread on the champion, and if it's Schumacher I'll be ecstatic, if it's Alonso I will applaud him, but Schumacher will be getting a bit mention whatever happens.
