I normally don't start topics in this section simply because I don't get speed channel or have anyway to watch pro racing, still being the son of a library director teaches you the value of reading...

So, with that said, I've heard and seen some articles on possible biiiig changes in Formula One to make it more entertaining, and the fact that the teams are on board with this is surprising. Off of the top of my head some of the changes I've heard of include standardizing the wings and one make tires...Also, probably the biggest would include the usage of naturally aspirated 4.0-4.8 liter V8's, and having their longevity be increased to as much as the whole season...

Anyways, like I said, I'm not on top of all the stuff like this like I am in other areas, but I've heard alot about this, and was wondering if I was the only one? 8)

The new engines are probably going to be 2.4 V8, not 4.0 V8.
And take a look here:http://www.sportscarforums.com/showthread.php?t=1760

I think it will be good. And the speed MUST go down, or else there will die someone soon!!!!

The longevity of the engines will be about 3-4 race weekends, if I'm not mistaken.
