Ok, here is the next Pre GP in the books. Hamilton still unstoppable and Alonso getting back on track, while Ferrari is improving.

Seems like it's going to be a very exciting finale for Brazillian GP.

^^ well it's obvious who you support!
I think right now, Ferrari are unstopable... lets see if they can keep it up tho! Hamilton fastest at 1st day testing at SPA, Massa fastest at 2nd day testing at SPA....
Im still waiting for a wet GP with the entire field on Bridgestone tyres.. hopefully we'll get one soon!

I can see another Ferrari win at the Nurburing, but Ferrari need a 1-2 too close the gap on McLaren.

No doubt Kimi will show the other drivers how it is done again ;) !

Not just Ferrari is unstoppable, Hamilton is because he's a rookie and has been on the podium for all the races.

Random fact:

Hamilton is the only top 4 driver not to have a DNF so far this season.

I'm not trying to jinx him or something but he will not finish all the races of this season, giving Ferrari a chance to close the gap on McLaren.

There's no doubt about the fact that Hamilton is extremely talented.... he's also extremely lucky that he's come into a team with a good car that along with Ferrari are way ahead of the rest of the field. I wonder how he would do if he wasen't in such a competative car- cos to me that show's more talent. Reminds me of the days when Ferrari in 2005 we not so good and schumi still managed to get something outta the car!

Well it's nice to see Ferrari back in their winning form. Kimi had 2 consecutive wins in France and Britain and lets hope that his performance will continue in Europe next week. If he does, then he is one step closer to wining the drivers championship. But for now, lets hope that we will see Kimi on the top step of the podium.

I have a hunch Ferrari will still have the advantage going into Europe in a fortnight's time. We all know it's going to be a great race because Raikkonen is the favourite for the win.

Ferrari still have a lot of ground to make up in both championships, but consistent 1-2s will get them right back in the game.

Duh :D

So all Ferrari have to do to win is... ...win?

Get real - would Hamilton do as well in a less good car? Course not - the car is more or less what it's all about in this era of F1. Maybe next year we'll see who's talented once TC goes away, because, I tell you, they bump up against the TC more than often enough. Was watching Fisi's TC a coupla GPs ago on ITV (they show it sometimes) and it goes nuts through more or less every corner. Besides the fact that they way F1 engines work means it's completely counter-intuitive to try and combat wheelspin the way you do it traditionally. We shall see.

Plus. Hamilton/Schumacher comaprisons? They don't end in the headline "Hamilton Beats Schumacher" unless you're talking about Ralf...

Should see a nice hard-fought couple of Euro GPs. Fernando to surprise everyone...

^^ Yeah, I sincerely hope Mr. Alonso can start to show what he's made of. There's a lot more to him than what we have seen so far. I'm adamant that Hamilton will not beat him.

Ha ha !

I would be annoyed if Hamilton beat Alonso and I hate both of them equally lol ! I do think Alonso has more to show and that will come in the next few races when he is trying to beat the Ferraris but obviuosly he wont ;) but he will show Hamilton how it is done and be the better of the 2 McLaren drivers towards the end of the season IMO.

Guys, Alonso and Hamilton are fighting. In the USA grand prix Alonso wanted to overpass HAmilton because Hamilton was slow. But they didn't allow to do this. It's just a fight. And they will never allow one of these drivers to overpass a teammate. They want the Mclaren cars without a damage.
I think that now the motorsports haven't the previous feelings. Drivers are been controlleb by others.

Hamilton wasn't slow, it was just that Alonso wanted to win really bad and didn't like the ''rookie'' beating him.

To some extent I agree with you there, I don't really love or hate Alonso, kinda neutral with him, but I would say I prefer Hamilton over Alonso.

But Alonso, out of the top four, has struggled the most with the tyres and the overall package this season compared to the others, and unless something dramatic happens, that trend might continue over the season.

^^As always the Mclarens are in good from with both drivers 1st and 3rd. As for Ferrari, they are doing good as well with Kimi in 2nd but Msssa is down in 6th which is a little disappointing. But it's still a good position overall, hopefully Both Ferrari drivers will go well in qualifying.

Also, it's not confirmed Alonso will come back to Renault, it's just a rumor. But if he does then Renault has to improve their car than their current pace or else Alonso would just be driving an uncompetitive car.

i heard that nurburgring had some torrential rain during GP2, meaning that F1 could follow the same fate. hmm, maybe a wet Gp at last

Yeah, a wet GP will sort them men from the boys. However, if there is a wet GP, I hope hamilton's engineers screw down his backend a bit more without telling him, as even though his car control is unnervingly stunning, if he's psuhing super hard on a wet track, all hell could break lose.

Anybody know how Mclaren's test at Spa went ? And have Ferrari's added anymore pace to there car ?

Should be a fine race weekend I reckon.

^Ferrari tested a few more parts for their car and I think it may have shaved off a few hundredths off their lap times. But, Spa is totally different to the Nurburgring what with elevation and the like, but they should be competitive this weekend. A great F1 car works at nearly all the racetracks, and will be quick.

As for a wet race; I would love that. The last race we had was in Hungary 2006 and that was my favourite ever race, for obvious reasons. Another wet one, Bring On Button.

It will be a good race, and maybe a wet weekend. In one hour and a half i will see the qualifyings, here. I saw the practice times and BMW managed to get the 4th and 5th place. Kimi is between the 2 mclarens. We will see the action in an hour, almost.
