Anyone remember the name "Sebastien Bourdais"? He drove for Peugeot in the '07 24 hours of Le Mans. He won the previous SJGP from last year. When I saw him drive his way to first, damn, he's FAST. He pretty much kept his spot most of the time.
Last year was the first time I had watched a real race, and watched the SJGP. There was some drifting when I first came. (A few minutes later on, the main event) It was even more entertaining, because there was a bit of drama between drivers.....
So, anyone going? (I might not after the HUGE disappointment I gave to my family because the tickets at Laguna Seca were too damned expensive!) If there are at least a few SCF members going, we should plan a meeting spot :D

Bourdais should win it this time. He's an extremely quick and talented driver, might be getting into F1 next year with Scuderia Toro Rosso (STR), had quite a few tests with them now.
And unlucky about Laguna Seca, the MotoGP (isn't that what you went to?) was a great race.

Bourdais won ChampCar in Edmonton just last week. I'm just curious if Tracy would ever win titles anymore.

Bourdais is a bad loser. He can't take it a rookie is beating him . Saying Doornbos should get punished for blocking him in Mont Tremblant(which was not true) while he didn't get punished fora huge jump start at the same race.
If he cant handle defensive driving, what Robert was doing, he should stay out of F1.

I agree, he acted like a small crying child. You have to accept that sometimes you win, sometimes you lose.

When you have 3-straight Champ Car championships driving for Newman-Haas (~ McLaren + Ferrari), and a 20 point lead looking at a 4th title; you can wear a diaper and puke on yourself and maintain job security. Big fish/small pond.
Minnow Bourdais is planning to jump into the big pond (F1) with the sharks (Fernando, Lewis, Kimi, Felipe, etc.) If he doesn't get a point; few will hear him whining.
