Have you seen McLaren's front and rear wings??
They are very small. It's difficult to see the "Vodafone" logo at the rear one. Also, the top small wing at the front has disappeared.
They will get a very high top speed.

Mclarens front wing was designed so that it has high downforce performance yet it also manages the best airflow around the wheel causing lower turbulance.
The rear wing, was designed so that it diffuses most of the airflow to have maximum downforce to the rear of the car. Hence, the design was soo well done, Mclaren did not need to use the horns to help diffuse the mid section airflow to the rear wing.
The wing at the front part of the front wing was removed, mostly due to the unecessary downforce since Monza is a really fast track, with a few really long straights and not as much turns. So, without the wing, it does not produce as much downforce needed, making the car a little bit faster.

Heidfel is quick. Hm. I think that Ferraris will be strong. They are in Italy. I will be watching the news.

McLaren are going to be devastatingly quick in Monza. Ferrari's best was 0.3 seconds behind the McLaren, and I don't think they will be sandbagging in a test where psychological edge is almost as important as a speed edge. McLaren could really upset the form book. It's happened before this year, so called ''Ferrari tracks'' have become McLaren's.

The Ferraris i imagine would be going full out at this track in testing as its in Italy. They would want to have both cars posting fastest times, if there not then i can only assume that the McLarens are once again incredibly fast. If they can turn out a McLaren 1-2 then the title race is quite frankly lost to Ferrari. If Lewis has a win and Alonso has a poor race then it could pretty much be his championship. Ferrari needs another 1-2 to keep the fight alive and i think they need to put one driver first to try and get the drivers title. But that will be hard to do with both drivers being so close.
Im hoping for a Hamilton win, Heidfeld 2nd, Kimi 3rd. Alonso DNF and Button in the top 10.

I ain't worried.
Theres nothing to be worried about Ferrari are teasing McLaren and saving that pace for the race weekend :p.
I predict:
1st - Kimi (obviously :D)
2nd - Massa
3rd - Alonso

So called Ferrari's track was lost when Schumi retired. :D

Alonso fastest on last day of Monza test:
http://www.itv-f1.com/News_Article.aspx?PO_ID=40493
If these testing times are anything to go by, then the race is McLarens. 4th and 5th with the BMWs ahead of the Ferraris is not good news for them, and if one Ferrari driver is off the podium, then they don't have a chance at the title in my opinion.
Seems like it's nearly McLaren's race to lose.

Hahahahaha! Yeah ok then.
You should be worried, if McLaren are as fast as they look then it may put the constuctors championship out of their reach this weekend.

^Plus we still have the court hearing on the 15 point McLaren scored in Hungary, so a good result with both cars in Monza, plus a court hearing win could spell the end of Ferrari's constructor's challenge.
But, even if McLaren don't win the appeal it's going to be hard to win the constructor's anyway.

I'm an optimist, I believe Ferrari have the car to win the championship its just the case of bad luck following Kimi around again.

McLaren won't win the appeal because if McLaren can get away with that the sport is truly corrupt. McLaren already got of lightly because:
A) Hamilton goes out in front of Alonso even when told he should go out after Alonso.
B) Hamilton didn't get punished because it would look bad if the 'Wonder boy' got punished wouldn't it ???
C) Alonso follows orders and he gets punished !!!
Basically McLaren IMO got off lightly for that after all the FIA didn't think to punish Hamilton and used Alonso has the escape goat and so did McLaren.

^^^ Look, the whole point of the arguement is that everything that happened was an INTERNAL matter. Nobody outside of Mclaren were involved. Yes, lewis didn't move, but he doesn't have to. Team Orders no longer exist. Alonso may have been listening to his engineer, he may not. The whole point is that the stewards should not have gotten involved in what was a matter for Mclaren to deal with themselves.
But, I'm going for Mclaren win. They do look so much faster. And have you seen all the teams copying Mclarens nose cone ? Tis well unusual, especially since they themselves don't appear to be using it.

I would have had a totally differnet (and slightly ambiguous) answer yesterday, but it seems McLaren have since put it back on for the last day of testing. Photos don't seem to be out just yet, but look at the front page of www.f1racing.net
As for why other teams are suddenly jumping on the boat, my guess is that they've been wind tunnel testing it since it appeared on the McLaren, and have recently gotten shapes that integrate well with their cars.

As Sparky said, it's an internal matter, and it should have been sorted out by the stewards in question but I suppose they have a right to investigate whatever goes on on the track, whether it be qualifying or the race, or practice.
Sometimes an individual's decision can be for the better of the team and Hamilton believed that his decision would make the team better off, and it did, to a certain extent.
This enquiry is nothing about making anyone look bad, if the FIA were concerned about looking bad then they wouldn't be ruling the sport anymore. The correct decision will come out of this appeal this month, trust me.

so, back to the topic of Italian GP, not blabing about Mclaren being deducted of points and Nemphis whining about that Mclaren did the wrong thing and others stating he's wrong.
Ok, it seems like Ferrari isnt up to the level with Mclaren this year at monza.
