In perhaps the best season ender I have ever seen in motorsports, Dario Franchitti wins the IRL championship on the last corner of the last lap.

After a long race of 215+ mph driving, it all came down to fuel, and who had it at the end. Scott Dixon who was leading the championship and the race, lost fuel pressure on the last turn of the last lap, and lost the race and the championship to Dario, who avoided the slowing Dixon and passed him for the win.

Going into the final turn, Dario was going to loose the championship by 7 points, but by the finish line he won it by just 13!

Bloody hell. When was this? Was this one race after Infineon or two races? I might have missed the IRl race, damn. :( I want a video, quick quick!

How surprising is that though, Dixon leading the championship, last lap, last corner, can't believe it!

Benny, it was the second race after Infineon, and the season finale. They raced at Chicagoland.
