Hi, there!
2 days ago I returned home but I didn't had time to upload the pics. It was great. I was travelling with my father to Monza in our car(1500km).
I had a ticket for the qualification(if Im not mistaken its 15 euro more) so saturday was the day to go around the track and find good place to stand. We went there very late to be able to find a place to take pics. After the qualy there was GP2, then we found one and you see the result. It's from variante Ascari.

At sunday we went on the track at 9:00 and it was full again. Then we got the idea to climb on a tree, which we did. Unfortunately the net was still high enough to cover the cars. However the pics down are the best we can get from the "green areas" on Monza. Anyway before the race there was Supercup S or something with only 911 RSRs which was really interesting. 2 hours before the F1 start a bus with all drivers giving interviews made a lap around the track.

So that was briefly, I'm still searching for a place to upload all the pics(900MB) so by now this is what I have:

Definitely agree, you must have had a pretty good camera to get such close shots!

The GP2 cars look weird with their wing element so far down the endplates, but props for getting shots of them too.

Nice job with the Pics. I was at Curve Grande. I think that was what it was called at least.

My pics were rubbish though. partly because my camera isn't all that good, partly because I'm not all that good.
I did on the other hand get to keep a piece of tire rubber from the curbing. That stuff is incredably soft and sticky compared to normal tires.

What camera do you use?The camera is D50, with 400mm lens(x 1.5 from the sensor you make it 600). But it's still not like yours. You were the Canon guy, right?
