All this exposure to drag racing is really making me want to go...

Guys have been racing snowmobiles on drag strips since Rollerblades were invented. Seriously, that's what they did... they'd take the chassis off a pair of rollerblades and mount them to the bottom of the sled's skis. The ones they use now are made for drag racing though.

This Sunday my local strip is holding their annual high-school/college drag fest, which are open to everybody as the spectator and competitor tickets will be at a discount. I'll look forward to seeing some interesting machines in action.

Wow, how cool is that! Kinda wicked to see drag bikes, snowmobiles and the not-so-dragworthy cars at the strip. Shows some cool diversity.

yeah i went to pinks that tv show it was at the motor plex where i used to live and they had those snow mobiles and they were so fast!

If I remember correctly it did high 13's, pretty quick for a big coupe.
