I put this in this section because it's a race car, not a street car.


My partner's decided to build a new car and is selling the Vega. It's a Super Gas 9.90 index car (around 148 trap speed) with a 434 Small Block and will run 9 flats with the Powerglide that's in it and high 8's with a Lenco four speed. He wants 20 grand for it...

If I did win that euromillions, I completely would buy it, just for the fun of it. The jackpot is £95 million, which is an unfallible amount for most.

But, if I did win it, I'll fly out, buy it, and you can show me how to drive it lol.

It's not too hard to drive on the stops. It's when you run it wide open that gets crazy. lol

Off the throttle stops and without the wheelie bar the thing's short enough to ride the bumper to the 600 foot mark and more...

That would be a completely md exprience for me. Drag isn't a big thing in the UK, and wheelies are a rare thing for sure, more of a specialty.

I'd just be worried about flinging the thing into a wall lol. But if I did by some crazy luck win that money, I'd deffinitely come and buy it. Have to get it repainted though. Get some stereotypical flames on there too. :p

You'd be surprised how inexpensive it is to run compared to 99% of the other Super Gas cars out there...

Pit fees vary from track to track but fuel's about $100 to $150 for a weekend. Tires are about $500 a year. That's it. Fuel for the car hauler.

That thing has 21" tires on the back. I don't think it would look too good with a foot of space between you Nittos and the outside of the wheel well! lol
