Hahahahahahahahahaa!!!

Please let this be 100% true! PLEASE!!!

Bernie has said that what people do in their own privacy is up to them and it doesnt effect their job. But come on! You cant keep this man here after this, its just rediculous!

This will only solidify peoples views that he should go. I for one want him to step down, this seems like a golden opportunity.

Is this reputable?

I think it's fantastic. Of course it's not going to be anywhere near as extreme as the press will make it out to be, I mean everyone has sexual fantasies but it's a risk he took when he decided to carry it out. Unfortunately his family history gives the press more ammunition than they need and they are going to have a field day over this.

German Hooker anyone?

Chris.

The News Of The World newspaper is a pretty reliable source. They are quite good in finding out these wierd stories, i believe they found one out a while back about a much loved soap star.

I think if this was faked then more papers would have covered it, but as its just the NOTW and they are pretty known for this kind of thing, then i think this story can be taken as pretty reliable.

Saying that though, you never know how far papers will go to get a big story. I hope its true, just because it will probably drive him out of the FIA so we can get a better president. His time was up long before this imo, this story should just finish him off.

I heard about this this morning, apparently it was also on the news, not just News of the World, so they're must be some truth to it.

It could always be a setup, but it's probably not.

His father was a high-ranked Nazi, this kinda' fits in with that image.

Besides, I wouldn't mind if he and Ecclestone took a step away from F1. I think they are too old, they are dragging the sport down with them, it's time for someone FRESH.

Anyway, I never liked this guy. Is this going to his end for sure? I don't know how sex scandals play out in Europe.

I think if anything happens, it will be Mosley stepping down himself. I don't think he can be forcibly removed from his position, nor do I think the mere event of this being surfaced will be enough for him to step down.

One the pressure comes down on him from every man and his dog, then he'll start thinking about it. That's what I think.

It looks a bit too good to be a setup.

The FIA are not saying anything about it, they are leaving it to Mosley and the paper.

I think this is true, i would love to hear from Mosley on this but doubt he will say anything.

In all seriousness why should this affect his job ???? I mean come what you get up too behind closed doors is upto you isn't ????????

This has nothing to do with F1, the people & or the teams this was Max Moseley obviously living out some sexual fantasies he had and judging by his family tree he has some secrets. But who cares ??????

So give the guy a break, everyone doesn't have to be professional outside of work and even though this story was quite amusing it doesn't affect F1 at all.

It doesnt look good though does it? The president of the FIA, someone with a high power that gets up to this sort of thing. People have quit many high flying jobs over things like this. Whenever someone (who also in this case wasnt really liked that much anyway) gets splashed across the papers for doing something not expected of them, people demand their heads. Someone in his position should be a man of integrity and decency, not someone who likes being spanked by a German hooker on their days off. People want to think that someone in a position like Mosley is squeaky clean and highly respectable. Once this is lost, and in such an embarrassing fashion, they are expected to step down from their respected, high powered position.

I would have loved to have seen the look on his face when he read the newspaper! lol
Haha, me too!! :D

The idea of a man from where all the best race engineering is done (a Brit) running a French-based "holder-of-rulebooks" organization seems like a good idea on the surface. Max Mosely has a decent resume as racer and partner/founder of March Cars. I read up on him awhile back.

I am led to believe that the largest circulation newspapers in Europe most resemble the ones women buy from the checkout lanes of US grocery stores. I would expect better background reading among SCF members.

I'm a bit confused here. Did none of you know before this story hit that the boss of FIA and the Divine/Exalted F1 racing was a political and socialogical nutcase?

The fact that McLaren would pony up the $100 millions make me think they've had some paddywhacks...

I did. Mosley's family has some history behind them, including Mosley himself.

Of course, as of now this event is purely speculation on the appearance of a couple of images, and it will be interesting to see what happens after this.

I am of the understanding, though, that Mosley wasn't going to run for FIA presidency at the next elections anyway.

Also, if Mosley was to step down, who would you most like his replacement to be?
There are a few options ive heard including Jackie Stewart, Damon Hill, Jean Todt and even Martin Brundle. I think it should be someone who will listen to what the fans want to see, listen to the drivers and someone who wants the sport to be what it should be, the pinnacle of motorsport worldwide. No one wants engine freezes, 4 race gearboxes, slower cars, boring and predictable racing. I for one dont want as much limitations on the specs of the cars as i feel this devalues the sport, making it boring. I think we deserve (and possibly need) someone to revive the excitement of F1. They should be someone who understands all the aspects of F1, can be fair in decision making, level headed and in touch with the fans. Id go for Jackie Stewart as i think he fills all these categories.

I agree 100%. Then again, people have been dropped for things not half as bad as this. It's generally just the way the world works. Anybody with power shouldn't be seen doing socially unacceptable things.

I wouldn't mind if he went though. I don't want him to go because he wants to be a bit of a nazi, (Ecclestone is Jewish, which makes me laugh a bit) I just don't like his policies, and what seems to be an often bias in the sport.

Damon Hill could be a good candidate for head of directors or whatever his role is. However, he might be a bit strugn up with the BDRC at the moment. Not Martin Brundle though. One, I like his coverage, two, I'm sure he is having a midlfe crisis. I'm certain he was wearing silk shirts and leather last year ya know.

Jean Todt, in my mind!, that man is a wonder in motorsport!, everything he has been a part of he has made the best!
1. Peugeot Talbot Sport
- Winning whit the 205 Turbo 16 in Gr. B, Winning Paris Dakar and won Le Mans 2 times in a row!
2. Ferrari F1, he made Ferrari an even bigger succes in F1!

but there are 3 problems to this!
1. He is headhunted by so many (including Peugeot, which is his favorite brand!)
2. He has retired (almost)
3. He is French!, don't know how many Brits want a French running FIA!

Can i add that he may be biased towards Ferrari and may not be able to be fair in all situations. Apart from this, i think he could be a good replacement, i just fear that he wouldnt be able to give a fair jugement 100% of the time.

This is not about his job as F1 president, but his private life as a pimp. So if everyone could just just sit back and rofl, this won't even affect F1 or his career in any way.

I theory I agree with this but in reality people in positions of power are role models and are treated like that. Anything they do that goes against the social norms (at least to this degree) should lose that position of power.

I know its a bit different to a driver or some random celeb but there is an unwritten code of conduct for those in positions of power/influence.

Do people say I want to grow up to be Gordon Brown/George Bush/Kevin Rudd? No. But people would still want them out of office straight away if it were one of them involved.

Either way, F1 could use some fresh ideas.

Edit: I hope that didn't sound rude. That wasn't my aim.

One of the highly ranked politicians in the Finish goverment, has just been fired because he sent dirty sms's to a 29 year old stripper! (he was 60).
So the scenario of Mosley getting fired would be more possible than him staying.
But he is probably going to stay, because so many have already shown support!

Have you seen what he was driving - having him in charge would be like a massive dose on testosterone. The drivers wouldn't race like little girlies, the teams wouldn't b1tch as much, and there'd be better racing.

^Well the way i read it on Eurosport, he was asked to stay away, not banned.
But Mosley got his hands full right now!, Mercedes and Toyota, has asked him to consider his future in FIA again, and ADAC (the german automobile union) had directly asked him to step down!

So let this be a lesson to us all!
No hiring 5 hookers and play nazi games whit them, it just get you trouble! ;)
