J. Button will be staying at BAR-Honda for 2005.
I'm translating from an article in a greek magazine:
"According to the decision of the independant 'Contracts Recognition Board', Jenson Button is obliged to keep his contract with BAR-Honda for the following year (2005), and follow it's terms. The decidion of the board was privately announced to the interested teams, WIlliams-BMW and BAR-Honda. As a consequence, there is one empty slot at Williams, the occupant of which is still unknown."
Who will race for Williams now?

I know it won't happen but there is one young driver Robert Kubica (he even lately was on tests in some F1 team but i don't remember in which) from Poland he is very talented and some day he will race in F1 but i think not yet but who knows...

In lesser words; BAR will sue the pants off Button if he trys to leave!
Isn't David Coulthard going to Williams?

Thank God for the Ctrl+C or I would have to type all this out:
Davidson, third driver with BAR in 2004, will take to the track at Jerez in Spain from Wednesday December 1. Heidfeld, who raced for Jordan this year, will test the following week, also at Jerez, commencing Thursday December 9.
According to a statement from Williams, the tests are “intended to assist the process of determining the team's full driver line-up for 2005.”
So far, Mark Webber has the only confirmed Williams race seat for next season. Webber, a Jaguar driver this year, will kick off the BMW-powered team’s winter test programme at Barcelona on Wednesday November 24, alongside regular tester Antonio Pizzonia.
Both Davidson and Heidfeld are highly regarded Formula One drivers. Davidson was a regular pacesetter in Friday practice this year, but has limited Grand Prix experience, having taken part in just two races, with Minardi, back in 2002.
Heidfeld, meanwhile, is highly experienced. A former Formula 3000 champion and McLaren test driver, he has 85 Grand Prix starts to his credit, with his best result a third place in Brazil in 2001 with Sauber.

Cool, didn't knew that Davidson was also a candidate. I hope for either Heidfeld or Davidson. They are imo the best drivers.

Thats good if he stays there, cause he has performed so good this season i really like him and the team. The only downside of it is he feels the car engine and aerodynamics are not capable of taking him to number one P.
Honda are the best engine producers in the world i think they should develop an hyper-engine of some sort to kcik schumacher's ass or maybe just approach Sebastian Loeb and ask him to join the team, he is undoubtedly the best driver on this planet!

But Loeb is a rally driver and i think it would took he some time to learn to compete and win in F1. The second thing i thnik that BMW or Ferrari are best engine producers in the world.

well the crappy thing is, obviously he doesn't want to be at BAR, he wants to be with Williams. so essentially BAR is forcing him to play when he doesn't want to. he can basically do what John Elway did for the Baltimore Colts back in 83. didn't want to play for the colts, so he went and played minor league baseball until the colts traded him to the broncos. Button can basically either semi-quit professional racing in F1 just to get dropped by BAR, or he can drive like crap on purpose. either way he's unhappy with BAR so i doubt it will be a great season for BAR unless Sato explodes.

Yeah that is a good point, Button clearly is not happy at BAR and to keep him there is a lost cause, but Williams have done so poor for their standards this season i wonder what Button knows or thinks about the BMW team because i feel Honda have done so well for BAR and pushed them to heights they could only imagine.
And the case with Sebastian Loeb i think he could make it for F1, i mean he is the best driver in the world and PSA are scrapping any plans to continue for next season.
F1 would not be too hard a transition for Loeb i feel as there was recently an article about Valentino Rossi the supersar motorcyclist having his first go in an F1 car and being only a couple of seconds behind Schumachers best ever time.
Anyway Loeb in F1 is just my stupid opinion and nobody has ever said anything about it, its just that i seen him drive the other day on TV and the conditions are so bad but he just stormed through, he's the MAN!

You're wrong there. immediately after the CRB decided that he had to stay at BAR, Button said in a press conference that he won't drive like crap because he can't go to Williams. And he didn't want to leave BAR because he didn't liked it there, it was because he thought that he had more chance to win the championship at Williams(Stupid thought though:p )

But if he had better chance of winning at Williams, why is he staying at BAR. Now either, he's an idiot or you've typed it wrong.

No it's this bit

It doesn't make sense.

For me it makes sense Button wanted to leave the BAR because he thought that with Williams he has bigger chance of winning championship then with BAR (not because he didn't like the BAR) and CarRocker thinks Button is wrong becuse in CarRocker's opinion Button has bigger chnce to win in BAR.
