Hello Again.
I think i was a bit early with the first of my Le Mans polls, so now with 3 Le Mans Series behind us (Sebring, Spain and Italy) i think it's time to see if peoples mind have changed.
The last pole was in favor of Audi with approx 80% of the votes!
So here is the Data:
Peugeot

General
After Sebring and 2 rounds of LMS. Peugeot leads 2:1, and the Peugeot seems to have a better car than Audi. We have seen that the Peugeot has experienced fever mechanic failures that Audi, and can lap 2-3 Seconds faster than the Audi.
But what we have also seen is that the Peugeot isn't good at handling traffic or race insidents, and the drivers needs more experince in the massive field of cars. With Peugeot having a quick and reliable car over 6-12 hours, will only help them so far. For what we saw at Le Mans last year was that it was in the final hours the Peugeot Diesel engine collapse, and the massive amount of rubber on the track was getting stuck in the radiators, which meant spending more time at the Pits.
So, once more, who is it going to be?
Audi or Peugoet?

As much as I hate when Peugeot wins ANYTHING...I really do like the 908. It's wery wery sexy. However, I did have to vote for the Audi as to who is going to win. I mean, come on, sure it may be slower, and sure it's already been beating 2 out of the 3 times they've raced...dude, it's the R10...THE R10! That's saying a lot.

I'll be very biased here and pick peugeot because it's close-cockpited.

GT-R will beat them both!!! :D
Seriously, i think Peugeot's time has come and they're gonna win the series, if not this race then the series. The car is better(and close-cockpited, love it) and the drivers are really good and will get the needed experience soon(except Villeneuve who can't drive better than my grandma, IMO).
Lol, Evo power, i liked that your argument was...faith :D keep it up and there might be some better results. ;)

It's probably going to be closer than last year, that's for sure. From the race results and personal experience, the Peugeot is about 2 or 3 seconds faster than the Audi at Sebring, at least, which equates to about 4 seconds per lap faster at Le Mans.
Thing is, Peugeot can still not match Audi's reliability and their uncanny combination of both very quick repair work and experienced drivers. Yes, Peugeot has F1 drivers, but the Audi drivers have been racing at Le Mans for how long?
I'll go for Peugeot, but it will be close, and reliability is the x-factor.

IT'S THE R10!.. exactly!, not the R8!
the R10 is to old, and pushed to hard. They can't push it much further!

Well the Audi has broken down more times than the Peugeot!
As far as i can remember the Peugeot has only had 1 technical problem where Audi has have it at every single race so far!
But you are right with the quick repairs!, Audi didn't make there cars to never break down, they made them so they quickly can be fixed!. and that is the problem with the Peugeot, it's to hard to fix! and the team isn't that experinced!

I go with Peugeot..Its faster..But Audi is longer in the game than Peugeot they are know good pit strategy and the car has a better track record in varied road conditions .They are competing in ALMS, LMS and Le Mans24, so they are in the game and knows how to play it well..The race will be close. If Peugeot has no problems with the car then they will win if not the track will be own by Audi..

I think it will be Audi. Peugeot will be strong for the first 12 hours or so and then they will have a major failure of some sort and the good old Audi will come chugin along to take the win.
You know it's not always the fastest that wins the race, ever heard of the tortoise and the hare? Or you could go by Talladega Nights and then "It's the fastest that get paid and the fastes that get laid!"

Well the fact is that Audi had more mechanical break downs than Peugeot in the last 4 races!
So, i would believe that when it comes to reliability in 24 hours, the Audi's are just a tiny bit better!

You're referring to the European Le Mans Series, right? Audi is nearly bulletproof in the American Le Mans Series. They have had a few problems at Sebring, but their usual problems are punctured tires. Of course, as you said, they are quick to repair. I know that the last few Le Mans they, like every other competitor, have had some problems, but they always get the car running again.

I dont think Audi North America (the ALMS team) feel the same pressure as Team Joest (LMS) are feeling from Peugeot!
The Audi in Europe has to push 110% every single race just to keep up with the Peugeot so they can have a shot at a win if the Peugeot's break down!
In USA Audi knows that on some circuits they are miles ahead, and some they are behind!
