Once again Max Moseley's "wonderful" price cut plans have risen to the surface for all to see.

Somebody really needs to get him out of his president seat of the FIA. I'm extremely sick of him making the rules and messing with the institution that is F1.

Yeah I saw that on Teletext earlier. He's such a gimp, get rid of him, and let him take little Bernie with him, they can have gay Nazi bondage together. I'm all for cutting costs for F1, and promoting green methods, but come on... its motorsport for gods sake. Its the best of its kind (sorry NASCAR fans), and yet its being turned upside down by a short angry man and a bloke who cannot accept that anyone likes him (Max). I think F1 should be govern'd by the teams themselves, with a central body to impose rules and regulations. In fact, I hope the teams do this breakaway thing their talking about again....

^^^ lol Andy (we have the same first name).
But really...halve costs? What will that positively do for any form of motorsport? That's just absurd.
It's the pinnacle of motorsport & if having to employ 1000 people to get a car on the grid is what it takes then so be it.
This guy is going loony.

If this guy keeps at it, it won't be the "pinnacle" anymore

If he didn't try and do this F1 would end like Canadian-American racing.
IMO it's good to try and lower the costs, make the cars last 10 races and stop having pit stops but I'm not sure about the "green" stuff. I've never been too much of a fan of ecological motorsport. They are two words which don't really mix well together. Plus developing all that technology would drive costs up.
Lets cut costs by making things simpler and stop the 1 race 1 car which we have right now.
My proposals:
No electronics whatsoever.
Reverse grid.
Points for all the cars on the grid.
No pit stops.
Fuel and tyres to last the whole 70 laps.
No engine restraints (displacement or form [V, W, Inline, Boxer...]).
Fix wings.
Cars to last 5 races.
Budget limit [?]
Make F1 governed and owned by F1 teams themselves so that they can spend more money on evolutioning their cars instead of paying for Bernies 130 million dollar house in london...
