Hey guys, I recently turned 16, and for my 16th birthday, one of my presents was a chance to go to a Skip Barber driving school up at Road America in Wisconsin. The official name of the school was the Mazda One Day Driving School. Anway, I had about an hour of the instructors telling us the basics, understeer, oversteer, etc., then it was out of the classroom and into the cars. i got like 4 hours of driving time, and we did things like drifting around a wet skidpad in an RX-8, how to defeat the abs to stop about 2 feet shorter from 40 in a Mazda 3, this one thing where there was a tennis ball in a bowl that was connected to the hood of the car, and we had to manuver around an obsticle corse without it falling over, and we then got to do laps around a great autocross course in first the mazda 3's, then in the miatas, and those cars really impressed me (the miatas that is) with how nimble they really are. Anyway, here are some pics:
(I need some help, I have like 20 pics, but most are over the limit of 1,000kb, how do i upload them?)

Imageshack....or if that doesn't work, photobucket, or, if all else fails, make multiple posts.
Looks like you had fun.
I wish I could do stuff like that.:(
How was the wet skid pad?

Thanks, the wet skid pad made me want to buy a parking lot, some cones, and a few sprinklers. it really was awesome, and especially in the RX-8. The pics still don't work, oh well

Thats a pretty awesome birthday present!
Road America is a great track, my favorite track in the country. You are very lucky. So, are you gonna get further into racing, or was it just a one time fun day thing?
