Looks like the starting grid is getting ever bigger in the FIA GT! :cool: if only it was shown on UK television :(
here is a bit of info from December 30th 2004's Autosport magazine I just scanned, and if you click the link at the bottom of this post, I have posted a much bigger scan ;)

yes and they gone use the new Koenigsegg CC8S :)

I am going to have to come also, 2006 is the official team entry, but that Australian team might do some good in 2005 :D

konigsegg going into racing should be almost unbeatable. le mans 24hr they might need new design for that.

Le mans is the next step for Koenigsegg :)
BTW you have spell Koenigseggs wrong in your username.. it is Koenigsegg not Koenigesegg ;)

It's great that Koenigsegg will be racinig in GT but i have a question. What engine they're going to use because CC8S and CCR has 4.7L supercharged engine and from what i remember in FIA GT you can have NA up to 6.0L or super/turbocharged up to 4.0L.

Nah thats only turbo, supercharged lets you have more displacement

wow, i didn't realize that they were racing the CCR. It'll be banned for sure. I can smell it. It's too powerful.

Another great thing if Koenigsegg gone race at FIA GT then maybe we gone get the race back to Sweden again i would love to see FIA GT on the Swedish race track Anderstorp :)

Dont think so, it's getting more and more a true worldchampionship. The FIA is getting them out of Europe, and planning races all over the world, just like they're doing with the F1

As long as they keep the Proximus 24h at Spa-Francorchamps, then im happy.:D
