Your second pic is the C5 Corvette. And your first pic is actually an artistic impression, so I can't really form an opinion before I see an actual pic. :idea:

Jim is right, we can't judge the C6 yet, cause we haven't seen any detailled, real life pics of it ( i've seen spy pics, but you can't see the whole car on them.... ). But i'm almost sure ( from what i've seen ) it looks better than the C5.

i saw an picture in an magazine, and this one is almost the same one, and they said that it was almost the finall look, they wont make much modifications on it

Mostly, magazines publicate stuff like that, only beacause they'll get attention, but it isn't true mostly. I've seen spy pics and the front grill definately doesn't look that way. The lights were covered, so i couldn't see those, but i did saw the rear lights, they're square :shock: ....

I saw a drawing of two different cars and a concept car thats not very close to whats going to be made...

Yes, i saw many drawing ( and spy photo's ) as well. And none of them look like the real thing....

I saw the spy photos. The car was covered but its shape and contour didnt seem to be too much different than the C5 vette. The new engine is supposed to have more power and have variable valve timing. The suspension will use ferro-fluid struts with EDFC. Base vette is supposed to have over 405 Hp and the Z06 will have around 500. Sounds yummy!

The pic under the heading titled "2005 Corvette Revealed!" is in fact a picture of the 2-door version of the Chevrolet SS concept car...the, supposed, 2006 replacement for the Camaro.

I've read that the C6 is staying with the 5.7L LS1 engine and also read that the C6 is stepping up to the pump with a 6.0L engine, helping the coupe and convertibles step up to 400hp. I've heard nothing official about the Z06, but you gotta figure they'll bump that up too.

The C6 allocation for dealerships is gonna make this vehicle very very hard to find and you'll probably have to wait in line as they'll be selling, most likely, well above their MSRP. Dealership allocation for the C6 is dependent on how many '04's your local dealership can sell...meaning, the more '04's they sell, the more C6's they'll get.

Also, the C6 is not due out anytime soon. From what I've heard, production orders will start to be taken in mid-June. Like the SSR, this date may end up getting puched back a bit too. There are a lot of variables right now. We'll probably know a lot more about this vehicle closer to Xmas time and towards the start of spring.

There is no such thing as 2 doos version of SS, it's an ilustration, as for the next vette, most likely will use a 430hp 5.7litre OHV V8 for the base version and a 6.8 litre 500 hp V8, rumors say that engine was showcased in the caddy sixteen hybrid V16 with two small block V8s together

Your closest comparison to what you've seen would be the Pontiac Solstice. Same look, same design....but not exactly the same car as the SS conecpt.

Read my post and wait, i think i'm probably right, i heard nothing less than 430hp for base C6 and 500 from 6.8l for the Z06

Yeah I saw spy photos of a vette that looked like a c5 with more exaggerated proportions; lower, wider, longer.....It didn't look like any of those pictures.....

Oh and the spy photos showed a pretty nice car although, it was partially covered up.

I don't like what I see in the pictures here. Oh and a Chevy SS is a completely different car.

It look gret, but to me doesn´t looks like a sport car as the actual vette, seems to be one sedan, but we can say nothing before look the fotos from a real car, , but is good. the spy fotos looks like a normal car, only like saomeone have toll with a few improvememt,
