Hey guys,

I'm planning on purchasing a Lexus IS 300 very very soon. They've only got the 5-speed manual right now, but there's supposedly a 6-speed manual coming out...so I'll prolly wait for that one.

Here's the thing....in stock form, the car is 0-60 in 6.8sec. That's not bad at all, considering it's a pretty heavy sports sedan (over 1,000lbs. heavier than a Civic (one of the closer comparisons, size-wise).

What are simple, rather inexpensive ways (seeing as I'd already be spending $30K+ to inprove the performance in this car?

Please give me some input and explain what each mod does.

Thanks!

I dont beleive there is an "inexpensive" way to modify an IS 300. Thats why no one does. It was supposed to be a good tuner car with lots fo potential but it fell off b/c it cost too much.
