Hi all , today i was reading on a dutch site that Villeneuve is fired by BAR..
Proberly the driver who join the BAR team is Takuma Sato , he instead of Villeneuve..

Well do you guys think that this is the right decission?
I think it is .. although i don't like it if he dissapears out the F1..
He, don't have any seat for next year now , so what do you think is he going back to america?

Look at the exact thread...:
Former world champion Jacques Villeneuve was facing the end of his Formula One career on Saturday after his manager Craig Pollock claimed that the Canadian had been dropped from the BAR-Honda team.

"We received a call from BAR Managing Director, Dave Richards, on Friday evening informing us of their decision," said Pollock. "What is so disappointing is the fact that this team was built for and around Jacques, and he underwent all sorts of trials and tribulations over the years as BAR struggled to find its place in Formula One...

I believe that Villeneuve is out.I dont say that I will miss him.He is a good driver indeed but his decisions and his movements in the team arent that good.

To please Honda, BAR is considering putitng Takuma Sato in the dirvers seat for Suzuka, I am really not suprised by the news of his firing a couple of months ago there was speculation that he would not return next year he won't be missed at all by the team, his 18million dollar contract per year is really draining the team of funds, The irony in all this is that BAR was created around villneuve and all he did was complain and complain, sure the cars that he drove were unreliable but can he always blame the car for his own faults? IF anyother driver was in his position then they would decrease their salary tht way more money can go into development but poor old jacques loved his money more then his team

AS far as villneuves career in F! is concerned i do think he will be in the drivers seat again next season he still has a lot of potential left in him, wiht the right team and car he will win another championship. I am also thinking that a Team like Jordan or Williams will try to pick him up next year, or even Toyota; they have the funds and they need a good driver but i think toyota's drivers are still in contrct for next year too

Yes, Panis and Da Matta will both remain in Toyota next year.

Yes i heard Villeneuve won't even drive at Suzuka anymore..

Well bye bye Villeneuve..
For the Honda team it's positive . but we lost a real fighter in F1!
For his team mates it's VERY positive too..!

Thlam i cant see Vill. getting back to williams - big teams arent goign to be interestred in someone at the end of a career.

Im sad to here that hes leaving, especially since he is such a good driver. Ever since he signed for BAR he went from world champ to zero. 99% of the problems where the fault of BAR, He had the lowest reliabiklity of any car this year. He only completed 55% of all laps.

Ah well, at least Villeneuve was the secondf highest earning F1 driver!

So do you think that Sato did a good work and do you think that Ville was gonna make a better?

Sato will fit in perfectly with BAR, villneuve only went to BAR for one reason: money whereas sato is going for the experience and the desire to improve the team.

you know what, i'm compleatly wrong shame on me! if i had done my research as usual: Jacques was offered the same contract with Renault as when he signed with BAR so he may not be greddy, i apologize for that but, i don't apologize for saying he is not a team player which he is not! on account of his actions

The only thing that matters is that F1 lost a good driver who CAN amek a show in the race and give the fans what they want...
