As far as I know the top-of-the-line Honda S2000 has a V6! I know that most of them have four-cylinders though.

I voted for an Inline 6, even though a V-6 i'd like a little more, the Jaguar XJ220 had a twin turbo 3.5 liter V-6, and the S version of it topped 233 mph...I read in some magazine last tuesday...Anyways....the i-6 is more easily modified...I think

Because you don't know how to appreciate it! Because you think that only V8s are good engines, thus it won't sell!

Have you ever been to USA or Canada? How many American V8s exist today?

No, I've never been. How many exist? What's the majority of the engines there?

In most of the actual cars there are fourbangers or V6s. The only V8s are in the most expensive SUVs and most of the trucks nowadays... there used to be a lot of V8s but over the years it went down :( oh but soon the Pontiac GTO will have a V8 and the Corvette and Mustang can have them :)

The Corvette, Mustang, and GTO are the only American made, mass produced sports cars. I don't really know which small engine I'd chose. They're all great. If it were larger engines, I would take a V10 or flat-12.

You could consider the 2003 Pontiac Sunfire or Chevrolet Cavalier a sports car because it has as much horse power and looks as sporty as a lot of cars considered sports cars lol... 140 hp is a little low but then again look at the Mazda Miata and cars like it lol!

I'm not so into american cars, but what about viper, ford boss series and ford f40 (or that aren't mass produced cars?) - I know some of ford boss series are rare but what about the rest?

I voted for the 4-cylinder.
A) it's small, lightweight
B) it takes to turbocharging like a fish to water
C) it's found in high performance N/A and turbo FWD cars, RWD cars and AWD cars, showing how versitile it is
D) less expensive!
E) more effecient!
F) more parts available for mods, upgrades, stages, customization, tuning in general, ect.
....Mmm, I think that's all I have for now
check the sig.

my order:

1) Rotary
2) Inline 6
3) V6
3) Four banger

that is what i think but if the four banger is turbo-charged then it is up there

1st place: four cylinders turbocharged engines are more fun to drive, 2nd place: rotary motors have lots of hp's but not too much torque specially in the low - mid revs, v6 and inline 6 comes better if they are supercharged, tied in 3rd place
