I knew a very little bit about these cars. From what I understood, they are very nice, solid performance cars. I was caught up in everything else until I was the movie Underworld and the main character jumps into this really slick Maserati. I realized I had no idea what the model was or anything else besides the make! It made me kinda sad because it seems like they are really awesome cars, but I know little to nothing about them. Is anyone well informed on these Itallian beauties?

Yeah aserati is great but it's not my favorite sports car compared to other sport car in the same price range, you can get something probably better but maybe not as nice, but same performance. and same quality you might be better off with something else, i love maserati thought. :D

I've recently went to the website www.maserati.com and some of the older cars are awesome! like the Biturbo series is a really impressive line of cars, too bad they stopped making those in '97. I've always been excited by sequential turbos :mrgreen: These cars are really sweet! Why aren't they mentioned more on this forum. In fact, I've never heard them mentioned at all! This is very suprising to me at least :shock:

Beautifull cars.. and indeed i love the BITURBO too that nose looks so Agressive.. very nice.. I think the New Maserati Quattroporte will kill his German competition.. VERY nice car that Maserati Quattroporte.. nice interior.!

i'd put maserati in the same category as ferrari, they have pretty similar lines, aren't they owned by the same people? maybe? i know there is some connection between the companies...anyway, beautiful cars, my neighbor owns a blue one...at least i get to look at every day...lol

it should be good to see how the new quattroporte fairs up against something like an M5 or a E55 AMG.

Yeah, they all belong to the FIAT Group (Fiat, Alfa Romeo, Ferrari, Maserati).
Lamborghini belongs to VW Group and Lancia is independant, I believe.
Bugatti also belongs to VW Group.

Aw, I like the 80's! Hehe, just kidding, I was talkign about the ones before that time. And then I just mentioned the Biturbo series, i forget though, were those in the 80's too? I liked all of those.

Maserati is one of the most important italian car manufacturers. Glorious history, superb race xperience('40's, 50's). From what i hear Maserati along with Ferrari and Alfa Romeo r going to create a subgroup inside the FIAT group. And now with their cooperation with Audi/Lamborghini, they r going to benefit a lot.

I disagree with you there.You have couple mistakes.
Lancia is for sure with Gruppo FIAT.Go to www.gruppofiat.com and you will see.As for Lambo's and Bugatti's.I dont really know what is going on.I think that there are some other ppl behind all those.Bugatti is for sure with VW group but as for Lambo I believe they are indepented...It seems like Automobili Lamborghini holdind SpA is their company but I dont know if they are in VW group until now.They were but they were off too.

course it is! - bentley has a variant of the W12 of the phaeton. and it unfortunetly has some of its swict gear :roll:

Maseratii is real god company, got engenery tradition and tradizione italiana,
i really like the spider, and the new quatroporte is probably one of the best sedans today i cant wait to se in the autobanh, but like a lot of great ting in the life is really expensive, but is really gut brand.

I wish I have money or Angelina's garage in Tomb Raider... :lol:
