We need more restrictions, more competition, better racing, more reliance on driving than electronics - Michael is still the best whether you love him or loathe him but there's a new bunch to replace the top echeleon - he'll find it even harder next year

hmmm im not so sure - i think ferrari will be just as motivated as any of the other top teams, so i dont think you could say that theyll lose the championship on those grounds.

They didnt change them for this reason.They changed them for the fans.When Ferrari was the King(see 2002)many fans didnt want to see F1 anymore and they want to have them back.Especially Bernie who's earning so much money of them...

You are completely wrong here...I watch F1 until '92 when Berger and Alesi were in the team..We were always 2nd or 3rd in the championship but I was with them and support them...From '92...Ferrari's werent wining those years...'99 won their first after long time..
I was waiting for it for 7 years and now when we ARE winning should I leave them???

SO EVERYONE followed him.. just before the start begins he turned to rain tires and started the race at rain tires... He knew it was going to rain... Few days ago i start reading a book about Enzo Ferrari, u should know what he gone through so Ferrari could be the team that is today, and why for some years Ferrari wasn't good enough in GP's (money wasn't the only problem). Believe me, there is no other car maker in the world with the history of Ferrari. Enzo Ferrari (The Commendatore) was born in 18 of August in 1898, and Scuderia Ferrari was found in 1929. As for the emblem, there r many stories, i believe the one with the pilot is the right one. I believe Alfa u know the hole story. . .

You are wrong there.Maybe Porsche havent that big history that Ferrari have but Porsche have great history in races(Le Mans,WRC and many more)that you cant imagine..
As about for Skoda's...No.I cant remember any history or so except some wins in WRC in old days but no Championship...Even the previous years with Octavia in WRC and nowadays with Fabia hadnt do anything at all and they will not do anything with this Fabia IMO.

and you are naive to think that all car founders (as well as 90% of all businesses) didnt come up against difficulties; difficulties that dont make a company great.
No-one buys a ferrari because 'enzo had to go to the bank to get money e.t.c. e.t.c.'. People, like i said before, buy ferraris as status sympbols and for their performance.

Yes you're right.That's why I am saying that if you want to buy a car you dont have to look the history of the company and other stuff like this.

Excuse me if I'm stating what others have said but I'm new to this forum.

I feel that 2004 will be Williams year, Sir Frank Williams and Patrick Head are among the best in the F1 paddock, JPM will be pushing harder than he already does because he'll want to take the number 1plate to McLaren with him and RS can produce the goods when he really has to, unlike DC. This little lot together with Michelins which hopefully will be beyond refute this season and a BMW engine will win them both titles this year.

Personally I'm hoping for a good year for JB now that the BAR is on Michelins and he has a more equal team mate in TS, possibly the sharing of information together with the Mich's will see the team come on in leaps and bounds - I have my fingers crossed for a 4th place finish in the WCC and JB and / or TS getting more than a couple of podiums.
