Everyone seems to be ranting and raving about this new car

I think it sucks, 300 BHP is nothing for a 3.5 liter engine; all the did was raise the BHP by 10, but they added 300 CC to the displacement, this should have given it A LOT more power

I think they should either keep the old engine

any input from other import lovers?

300 BHP with 3,5 Liter engine is nothing?? :? :?
they can push the car to more BHP,, but 300 bhp is pritty much for 3,5
sports cars with 400 bhp have 4.5 or 5 Liter engines

It doesn't suck...
300HP are good for a 3.5lt engine. Besides, they have most likely improved the torque distribution (in order to have low-end torque as well).

now, if only they could make it 340hp!! Then it would be some s2k like engineering! Come on Honda, you can do it :!:

the Modena is what? A high performance extoic Ferarri? The NSX is the best Accura/Honda car thats under 100k. Is the Modena N/A? I don't know myself

ummm.... in case you didn't notice, the original NSX had 290 BHP. THATS GOOD, but an extra 300cc's should yield a lot more than an extra 10 horsepower (a cold air intake could do that); the skyline got a 50 HP increase by adding 200cc's (skyline 400R), but it's got an intercooler and 2 turbos, so that's a different story

a nissan 350Z gets like 287 HP (i think) and a fair amount of torque, with the same engine displacement and COSTS 1/3 the price; and a Honda (i think honda's better) can only deliver a 13 HP increase compared to a car one-third the price?

now, don't come yelling at me about things like handling and weight and so forth..... i know.......I know......

Honda can make awesome engine if they try; just look at the honda s2000; 120 HP per liter. the BMW z4 needs an "M" logo on it to get the same HP reading, the porsche boxter requires 400cc more than the s2000 to get the same amount of HP. so why can't honda make the HSC just as good of a car, or better, as the s2000?

I'm a diehard honda fan, so i don't want honda to lower itself to the level of other inferior car manufactures

the guy that brought up the modena is right; honda should get something PRETTY CLOSE to that. the engine of the HSC is only .1 liter smaller, so it should get at least 350 BHP

oh and, i didn't mean to put 3 posts up like that :D

WTF! man you people complain too much its just a concept car, why would honda make a brand new engine to go into a concept car and never use that engine again? and spend millions of dollars in development, it would be a compleate waste of money
and its not a 3.5L engine its the 3.2L currently used in the NSX
