Flavio Briatore just said that Schumi is too old for racing in F1.
What do you think about that?
Will he succee anymore?
Is it time to quit?
I think that he should quit and give a chance for younger drivers..

Everybody say's that but look at mikka hakkionn, excellent driver but quite because he simpilly did'nt have to race in F1 anymore. However on the other hand, michael Schumacher is a made man, but continue's racing for he simple love of it, and for that you have to respect him !.

i don't think that there is most passionate with his job than Schumacher.
Flavio said that ( i think ) because he know that the situation in Ferrari is ***** because they are not winning and he just try to make it worst....

Schumacher is definetly on a downward spiral. I think it's his car and his team, though. He's always been rock solid, and for a while, he had the best team by far. Now, he's barely keeping pace with his baby brother! Now that's odd. He should retire and go to DTM. That way, he and Mika can battle it out again. That would be awesome.

Guys face it...
Its not Michael the reason that Ferrari isnt winning...
Too old??? Get a life...He is only 36...He is younger than my dad :P
Anyway, if you look in previous years there were other drivers who were aged and they won championships too...
Nigel Mansell is one of them that I remember right now...

I don't think his age has anything to do with it. It is the car mixed with bad luck. Just look how good he was with a decent car in Italy.

But with F2005 and the Bridgestones, and if this trend continues, he is outta there in a few years.

Michael hasn't gotten worse....Ferrari/Bridgestone have.

Schumacher has still been quick. Best laps at imola and (i think) monaco. The ferrari just havent had good qualifying. The exact opposite of the BMW-Williams.
I think the bridgestones are the problem.

um well totally unexpected, but i don't think hes too old hes a good driver and deserves what he gets for it however you can't be top dog forever so therefore it's someone else's turn...simple?

Maybe Michael has gotten busier investing(think Lauda Air) and thinking about what he could do with his money($50MIL usd for a 1 year contract extension) and possibly less enthusiastic about risking his life.

More than 5 years after he retired, Jackie Stewart had a standing offer of 10 times what he earned as driver to race again. He did do some testing for Goodyear in GP cars years later. The tire engineers acquired some fascinating data from the modern master of smoothness.
