wich one do you guys prefer i prefer the Audi TT 3.2 quatro :twisted: :twisted:

i dont think id be crazy about having either of them. The audi has been a victim of its own success, in that it is not cool to have one anymore. ANd the Z3, has got a terrible name (no matter how fantastic the 'M' is) from the 1.8 litre petrol. That incidently is slower than a desiel rover 25.


If I had to chose I have the audi (only just though)

the Audi 1.8 turbo is pretty great ...
i didnt really understand what mallon ment ..
the Z3 is good too but only if its a 2.8 liter or and MPower version ...

i can say i liked the TT pretty much maybe becouse all of the TTs i rided were Tuned real good .... but i guess the 3.2 would be Fantastic...

usually i like the BMW's but this time i dont think that the Z3 M can beat the 3.2 TT ...
so my choise will be the TT ! :twisted:

The Z3 M COUPE was one of the ugliest cars not only in the history of BMW but also in the history of cars. I wonder what on earth persuaded the ppl over at BMW to put it under production. Thank God they stopped it.

BMW agree with you NiGiz - they are forgetting completely about it and starting new with the Z4

Hope they won't do anything similar with the Z4. If they want to make a coupe look, they can easily produce a hard-top z4.

yeah they did, but I think thats still classes as a convertable, not a coupe.

I think a Z4 coupe wuold be cool - im hoping they do make it.

A car that was first intriduced as a roadster CANNOT become coupe. It will always look like a roadstewith a hard or mettalic top. Take the TT f.e, the roadster and the coupe have exactly the same design.

but the TT usually dont have any hardtop ...so there is a difrance there!

Let me put it in different words...Take the TT coupe, remove the roof, and dada what do u get?? The roadster, no difference at all. :(

Xactly. So the guys over at BMW's when they created the Z3 Coupe, they didn't follow this procedure but they tried to do sth new. And this new was a total disaster.

This isn't a fair comapro, M roadster is hella fast while the 3.2 TT is the fastest TT ever, is not quite comparo, maybe TT 3.2 with boxter S (performancewise), M Roadster has like 320bhp while 3.2 TT has like 250, the M does 0-100 in like 4.4 sec, the audi is at least 2 sec slower, and is too expensive for a golf based car

Well, that are audi's number, i guess it's faster, but not that much, the bimmer is even faster than a boxter S, maybe audi can toss up with the boxter, but that wouldnt look right :wink:

at first i hated its style so much ....u may say its great but it ugly!!!
but when i drove in my friends car... which is tunned but its still like a TT ..
the car was fantastic ... soo fast,, and great handling....
i dont really think that Audi would lie about the 0-100 time...
couse everybody "with the right equipment " can test it ...
and if they were lieing ... Audi will be in hug trouble ... !!
so i guess the number of the classic acceleration is real ...
and i guesss the bimmer is faster :wink:

Man, when i read your posts....... :roll: i get really confused, sometimes i dont know what u talking about, anyway, the 250bhp is better agains a 3.0 Z4 than an M roadster, i dont think it would go much faster than 6 flat 0-100

Ok, yeah TT's handling is very easy, very good, but the same is for many other cars, M roadster really needs skill to be driven accuratelly, but if you are a good driver, the M is especially fast, also the TT is low on horses against the M and being awd i guess it's heavier too, thats why i say, TT is better against a boxter S and a z4 3.0 than an M roadster

but i still think the TT's handling is better than the M ....

Of course the Audi. I don't like the design of the M coupe at all.

I agree with FR500

If you are a skillful driver who knows the car inside out, the M coupe will handle with more accuracey - and generally just faster being RWD. But for lesser experinecd drivers or whatever, should find the TT easier to get right.

if its a quattro couse there are some FWD TT's !!
