yeah, i already saw it twice! The best part in the movie is when Roman goes up against the challenger. Everyone knows that a yenko camaro and a HEMI challenger would destroy an EVO7 and an Eclipse Spyder. No chance! I don't think it would make anyone drive crazy. If anything, it wouldn't want to make me drive, because, unlike the first one, they show the consequences of stupid driving. (i.e. the cops actually catch the street racers at the begining!)

this movie is ***n ****, it bertrays street racing absolutly wrongly.

yeah, bob, i htink you meant portrayed street racers instead of betrayed street racers. Yeah, fast and furious isn't really what street racing is like. It's just an exageration. REAL street racers race crappy little civics, not REAL tuner cars, such as the ones they used in the movie. The movie wasn't all about street racing. It was about drug running also. I personally think you don't like the movie because your trying to act cool, but you know you like it.

Lets not give the cars of 2F2F too much credit- as REAL tuner cars. Sport Compact Car Magazine tested a handful of the movie-star-cars. They are mainly stock cars, covered in gaudy paint, body kits, interiors, and other things. They found the cars in the movie to feel sketchy and slow. The RX-7 in the movie is slower than stock!

Which brings me to my next point. It is a movie- not real. It is a fantasy world. Turn off your brain and enjoy it, or just don't watch it. After all, its not like Hollywood is going to crank out a stellar car-based movie anytime soon.

Of course! Why would they use real cars? That would waste to much money. It's the cars that they are supposed to represent!

I have a question for you White-Knight, you say you have 2F2F downloaded....

In the second street race, where Bryan and his buddy race their Mitsubishi's against the Camaro guys, their is a shot of Bryan's feet while shifting. He is driving the Evolution at this time, but I could've sworn I saw the GT-R pedals of the Skyline. Could you check this out and tell me if this really is a mistake, or I'm just loosing my mind?

the pedal is black . a squar and silver lined with a balck silver circule in the middle ..

The GT-R pedals that Bryan has are just plain, black rubber pedals with GT-R wirtten on them... but what you're describing doesn't sound like it.... I guess I am losing my mind

I think the real question is, do you care? So what if they used a shot of him shifting with the skyline pedals. They do it in alot of movies. I'm not trying to be cynical, but don't refer to those two guys as "the camaro guys". One of them had a 69 yenko camaro, true, but the other had a 70 Hemi Challenger. If you must refer to those two, call them fabio and fonzi. A lady in the theater called both off those cars mustangs. I was an inch close to ripping her head off. But, being the cool guy i am, i bottled my anger.

although in the 1st movie there was a shoot when he was riding a car ... i dont really remmber which (sorry ) but the interior was a hondas ,,, im sure about that !

He he guys i have watched Fast and the furious a lot ( a LOT ) of times and I noticed a LOT of "goofups" :lol: i will name only a few : 1.) in the first drag race Brians floor from hte copassanger seats blows off ( remember the sparks and everything ) and then when he picks up Torredo he sits there like everything is ok :lol: 2.) the drag between Johnny Tran and Jesse has two mistakes nb.1: they line up at the very beginning and then when brian is asking jesse who is his opponent and show Tran JUST PULLINGUP but he stood there for like 5 minutes all ready and NB.2 ( this is a funny one ) when it show Tran he is wearing a shirt some blac longsleewed silk shirt or sth - for a second the camera shows the guy starting the race and back to Tran who is already in a sports shirt hehe so if u will pay attention you will se a lot of simillar things bye bye :wink:

I loved tha movie! Sure, it was totally Hollywood, but the Cars were glorius(sans the freaking PT Crappers in one of the last scenes). I;d see it again if I had the money right now LOL :lol:

Oh, you make me laugh so much, I love you! The all caps are just priceless. Yeah, we already established that it wasn't a picture depicting things that happen in real life(like ANY movie does that) and I will agree though, it did make me sad to see the Cobra do under the Semi. I just got for free on DVD when I test drove a Lancer recently, and I must say I like it more than the first time in the theaters. And I'll say again, the first one was a good deal better.

I love the part where they're making it look like the Eclipse and the Evo are just flying down the street and the main character (sorry, I've purged his name from memory) pulls an e-brake 180, shifts into reverse and drives along backwards.

The problem here is that reverse is always geared the same as, or lower than first gear. Assuming the Evo could do maybe 30 mph in first, that means that the whole scene in which they're flying down the road, is actually happening at 30 mph or less. :roll:

Another good one is where they get the 'job interview' and are racing the Saleen Mustang and Viper etc. They don't give any of these cars a second thought and blow them all away. But then when they have to race the Camaro, they're all scared. That Camaro may be fast but it can't touch a Viper.

Oh ok the movie might be full of ****, but it was fun watching! :lol: :lol:

Yeah, I swear it's a Mustang Cobra R. I could be totally wrong, it has such a small part in the film I haven't looked that closely at it.
