Nope, I work in Photoshop for a living, these are regular shots....taken during a commerical filiming. They say 400 horsepower in the baseVette 500 or so in the ZO6! Bye bye Viper!

I think the C5 is beautiful as it is so they better not **** the design up and make it look ugly. Hopefully it will come out OK. I want to see the front!

I wodner how much these things are going to cost. The reason the last Vettes were such great deals was the fact that they had been around for a while. Regarding the pop-up healights, those were 'effing cool! I was sad to see them go on the NSX, the Lostus Esprit is going out of production, and now the Vette is losing them. Everyone has to be so damn same to the other cars anymore. whatever happened to class? Those headlamps were slick and stylish IMO, and now everyone has the same damn fixed ones. Whatever happened to originality?

The C6 will be a very good car, IMO.

Originality is being swapped for performance fixed lights are waaay lighter

I think base C6 would stick at like 55k for the first year i think, then price will drop a bit maybe down to 50k.

Where? the side doors look a bit like the Viper, but far sexier, the new viper looks good but in some colors it looks to plastic, like it was a toy, the front is pure vette except for the hole in the whole front

And by the way the pics agitatedcorn poster are mere photoshops, based on the chevy ss concept and the solstice it seems, also the site has info but i think it's wrong, most rumors say a 2 Valve pushrod 5.7l V8 with 400hp or 425hp for the base C6 and a 3 Valve Pushrod V8 for the Z06 with VVT and DOD, maybe 6 liters or 6.8 liters, still small block so no problem there 500hp estimated, bye bye Viper

Wow, the corvette looks' awesome. I've also seen photos of the new prototype (not concept) '05 Mustang. I have mixed feelings about retro styling though.

Thats why designers get paid alot....THINK of new stuff already, retro doesn't work.
Look at the new Thunderbird, its being phased out already, the PT Cruiser is not selling either.

It will only sell cause Ford will push it, and they don't have a Corvette. IMO the styling is basically a '67 rip-off, but un-proportioned. Mustangs have always been cheap, a to b cars. They were never advanced or good cars. I had one, and I have 3 friends with them now. They all were/are junk IMO.

i'm really really starting to suspect the next gen mustang will be another 80's era type disaster for them
