What do you all think about this new game. Its like to refer to young boyz who likes 2F2F and like to make cars like these in the movie.Imagine the good old NFS.With McLaren's, Ferrari's, Lambo's, Lotus and many good cars. The only non-Japanese cars in this game are Dodge Neon, Ford Focus and VW Golf.Oh and Peugeot 206.Mercy.I didnt like it.]
GT4 is away better.BTW I've seen some more pics of GT4 in gamespot.com.
Here they are:

NFSU has the fakest physics engine of all time :!: Its very unrealestic, but to make up for that it has full customization of your car and it has NOS
Then there's GT3... The best racing game of all time :!: Now there making GT4 I can only imagine how good that’s going to be.
I have both games and I’m going to say GT3 is still KING

We had a conversation with my class mates. We all agreed that the GT series is the king of racing games. And it will be good if GT4 will be produced for PC too.

I have just played NFS:UG, and the game is very very good! ! ! And the non-japanese cars are more. . . But as a huge fan of GT series i think GT4 will be better, especially in handling and graphics.
P.S. Just play GT Concept on an HDTV and u will see what graphics PS2 can produce.

I haven't posted in like, a week, so, hear's my take...First off, I've already beaten NFS:Underground, and personally, the customization and drifitng was fun as hell, but the blinding lights, the shitty multiplayer, and "reputation" meter that FORCES you to put a ROOF SCOOP ON A skyline is absolute bull...to think an entire generation grew up on the fast and the "foolish" movies and that game...tisk tisk tisk...anyways...
Four days ago I went to a friends and got a first taste of Project Gotham Racing 2, HOLY MOTHER ****ING ****...that game is awesome as hell...graphics aren't groundbreaking, but the handling, sheer amount of exotics and maps makes up for it in spades...oh and one other thing
The game has the complete Nurburgring North Loop, the 13-mile, 170-turn 8 minutes-if-you-are-fast-as-hell track...I spent an hour among a group of 8 people on Xbox live racing that course in the Enzo....I swear to god, if I ever have more fun in a racing game, I'll probably end up wetting my pants next time. 8) 8)

GT3 Iis the king, underground is coll with the bodykits and what not, gt3 is the king, underground with the nos and speed, gt3 is the real driving simulation, underground is fun the feal of the power in your hands as you shift through gears and the nos and turbo wow!
but gt3 still is the king but gt4 will be the god of which you like the boots of when you want to be a real driver.
Dutchmarshall
Dec 02, 2003, 4:31 AM
look you really cant chose between Underground and GT4, cause Underground is only Street Races, not normal racing, GT4 is all about Races, almost every race is in it, so depends on what you want, then you can chose between it

WHY ARE THESE GAMES BEING COMPARED?!!? They are totally different genres! One is a realistic driving simulation, the other is fantastical arcade blast. I cannot choose between the two games because they are both AWESOME at what they do. NFS: Underground lets you customize a handful of cars to an extreme degree and blast around town like you never really could in real life. Theres the style, shiny things, loud noises, and pretty girls starting the races. Gran Turismo on the other hand has over 500 different, completely uncustomizable authentic cars racing like in real life on famous tracks around the world. There's an insane amount of realistic attention to details and true to life physics. If I had two systems(X-Box and a PS2) I would totally get both games. Sadly, I'm left with the only option of NFS with my X-Box. Anyway, again, both games are sweet at what they do and cater to two different methods, both of which I enjoy. :P

Dude, when you get to the 80th or so race, and the majority of all your hard work has been to whore your car for DECALS, VINYL STICKERS, GRAPHIXXXXXXXXXX, and HOT PAINT JOBS AND WINGS...oh gods, then you'll understand why my brain is fixated on Project Gotham Racing 2...
AND how CAN WE COMPARE THESE TWO!?!?! GT4 isn't even OUT YET! 8)
Raith83
Dec 05, 2003, 12:48 PM
still, that doesn't negate my point because everyone WASN'T comparing the graphics dude. They were bringing in all the other aspects like handling and such. and again! NFS: Underground has a totally different style than Gran Turismo. GT goes for authentic cars, and has 50 billion of them. NFS underground needed to have the cars COMPLETELY customizable and has fantastic lighting effects and vivid colors. I'm sure the GT graphics wouldn't be as good if they had to model the cars so theyt were changable with paints, bodykits, rims, headlights, and everyfreaking thing else. Seriously, how do you expect even the same graphics from both of these games with TOTALLY different ieads behind them!?

no way
even gt3 is better than NFSU
yes u can cosimize the way your car looks, You can RICE it up, with those gay stickers and useless spoilers
gt3 ON the other hand is the ULTIMATE DRIVING SIMULATOR
then theres the GT4, 500+ cars....., although im still pissed they dont have a ****en ferrari or porsche in the game, Ruf and a Mclaren racecar will do, i doubt sega gt online will still be as good even if it is ONLINE.
im still sticking to my ps2, xbocks is lame.
nintendo and sony should team up and destroy microsofts console division

Dec 25, 2003, 6:18 AM
Ah, my point re-iterated! Okay, you might like driving simulators better, but how does that make NFSU suck? Your standards are better than mine? I'm ALL about customizing cars. The style, the higher than stock performance, thats what thrills me. Do I suck because I like customizing cars? That's what I'm getting from some of these posts

Dec 25, 2003, 10:28 AM
LOL, come on guys. NFSU is totally nothing compared to GT3 A-Spec, so imagine how it will do versus GT4! Street racing never was that populair untill The Fast And The Furious came out. Now the gay-trend has nearly the entire world in it's claws. Souped up cars are okay, but you must have put some effort in the engine and handling as well. These fake 2F2F games are ****, while each GT game has been the best so far. GT3 A-Spec still dominates the racing-game-world. It's all about being realistic, everyone can put body kits on their rides and say their car looks fast.
And as for the despirate McLaren F1 fans, calm down, there will be a McLaren F1 GTR Team FIA in the game!

Dec 26, 2003, 2:19 PM
NFSU is brilliant, but i doubt itll be as legendary as GT3!
GT3 is less technical and much more arcade-y whilst GT3 is as really as you can get in terms of mechanics and car movement e.t.c..
both games are brilliant but GT3 is probably a better game.
Dutchmarshall
Dec 26, 2003, 5:07 PM
its just a fact,
in the first month of NFSU there much more ppl playing it then in the first month of GT3
but no doubt thats because NFSU is on all platforms and GT3 is only on PS2
and no doubt that if GT3 was on every platform Polyphony would even be richer then EA Games
and NFSU is great, but after a while its not so much fun anymore, and i got GT3 for 3 years now and im still playing nowandthen, but ill bet in a half year im surtenly not playing NFSU anymore

Raith83
Dec 26, 2003, 11:08 PM
wow, why do people have to be so negative about this? NFSU doesn't try to be GT anything. It's a game with cars that race around on the streets with brilliant graphics and dazzling effects. You can customize your car any way you like it. I'll say that again for clarifitcation, any way you like it. Everyone seems to be bashing on individuality and different tastes and styles. Don't you see that is what makes the car scene beautiful? Whatever you like, there's something for you! Fine! You don't like bodykits and spoilers, you don't have to look at them! But don't make people who DO like that style feel bad about it, like YOUR standards are better? Sorry I get so hyped up about this sort of thing, but it's what starts those idiotic 'anti-rice' web sites that have nothing but a negative effect. You should read some of the ignorant cussing and totally rotted attitueds these people have against other people who own these cars. It's so stupid and a waste of time and energy.
DarkVenom666
Dec 27, 2003, 8:31 PM
I'm not being negative. NFSU is arcade-styled. GT is very, very realistic, with lot;s of options, but different ones than those of NFSU. NFSU is, compared to GT, fake. Truelly fake. Handling, setting up cars, speeds, the whole package. And that's simply a fact. There has been put more technical thinking in GT than in NFSU, there's no doubt about that. And that's why i like GT better and think it's 'better'. Just because it's so realistic.

NFS has a unrealistic physics and anyway the one in GT4 is not too realistic even.

Wha?!? This is a horrible comparison. NFSU has like 20 cars while GT3 has like 300. Its Easy! NFSU FOR SURE! LOL.. j/k you would have to be on crack or stupid to pick NFSU. I have played both games, and while NFSU is still good, I think GT3 is way better.

I like NFSU because you can do pretty much everything to a car but I like GT3 better because more selection of cars, but the thing I hate about it is that you only can add performance features to the car.

okie i saw the pics of gt4 and played some gt3 r u ****ing crazy putting underground agienst gt4?..... well that is what isay. gt4 is more realistic and that is what i have a fetish for im car games.
also my fetish for car games is rally and drifting sooo...... ummmm i would have to say 65% gt4 and 35% NFSU really for drifting. but then again i think the tracks for NFSU drifting are redongculis not that there bad but i would rather have an open track then friggan bridges and stuff like that. drifting tracks like the slide squad uses and JUN peole test on. but i love rally it is deff the hardest racing on earth. i mean u only go like 140 mph BUT u have to take turns really fast drift on turns go over bumps crap like that.
then again i would rather play in Initial D where it is all down hill drifting then underground. but gt4 is deff the best car game there is

I don't understand how you can even compare NFSU to GT3/4. NFSU has fully customizable factory vehicles that you race on the street, while GT3/4 has performance-modifiable factory/race/exotic cars meant for touring, endurance, and rally.
The only similarities between the two that I can see is that there are cars in both of them.
Two very different games being compared... Doesn't make sense to me.
