Its evething the same: VW, Audi, Seat, Skoda, the choice will depend first about the budjet ($$$$$) and then, if you prefer a sport car take an Audi, if are more traditional take a VW, if youre not traditional take a Seat, if you dont have to much money or has bad taste take a Skoda

Look at Skoda's marketing slogan which is slapped onto the back window of each skoda sold, ''it's a Skoda, Honest'' - not very pedagree'ish is it ?.
What that last guy said is pretty much sum's it up,
with the exeption of seat, Audi, VW, and skoda are pretty much the same car if you think about-it, octavia is a cheap passat, passat's a cheaper A4.
And what's with Skoda making that Fabia RS hothatch thats actually a diesel, ''infact i quite like that car'',
Overall imo Seat is my most respected group, they bring good styling, good engine's and great price-tag's too.

damn, people, take a test drive in a Skoda, i promise you they are good cars, I nearly bought a Fabia, and my dad nearly bought a Superb, only reasons we didnt was : dad wanted something more sporty, and i wanted something more sporty!
But the reality is that Skoda are better cars then Mercedes. They are definately more reliable.
Anyway, this is in Motorsport section, so I guess we shuold talk about the WRC car, which I have made numerous posts on, but the Fabia WRC car has so much potential, its worked on partly by Audi engineers, and the little car has so much developing space to go, but its always somewhere behind. I have a feeling the Fabia will be scrapped and we'll see an audi entry, using the fabia technology to a new level within a few years.
however, the Octavia was super reliable, just a bit slow, and I still believe they are very good cars

yes they are, and they make some nice cars, way to under powered but bomb proof, so a little more money to get the engine up to power and the reliabity oh and a paddle gearbox and they might even fight for the championship.

the road models are very good, i really liked the driving position of the 2005/06MY Octavia, and the Superb, but i feel the Fabia still needs some looking at... anyway, i still stick by that Skoda's are good cars now
and they are definately from the Czech Republic, Czechoslovakia hasnt existed for many years, now it is 2 seperate countries, Czech Rep. and Slovakia
