I love fords (We are a ford family, 1998 F-150, 2003 Expedition, 2002 Mustang) and I also love to see Rousch racing dominate the Nextel cup series so much.
Anyone else here like Rousch Racing? And if so who is your favorite driver. Even if you dont like Rousch, post your fav. drivers.

nascar is wack..nothing more boring then watchin cars go around in a circle at 200mph for 2hours.

I have attended far more road races than Nascar. I consider superior the technical abilities of road racers, but watching 2 cars/drivers swapping/fighting for the lead at 190 for 5 or 10 laps is the ultimate level of suspense in motorsports.
Attention Span Deficit (ASD) disorder sufferers will most likely feel more at home on a drag racing forum. Like bad sex, you can get it over with quickly. There's just no telling about NYC.
Roush Racing rules. Roush has 10 GTO class wins at the Daytona 24, 2 with Mark Martin.
Does anyone remember the Tom Hanks line in "League of our Own"? "There's no CRYING in baseball!"
The same rule applies to auto racing. Mark Martin is one of the few remaining adherents to this rule.

Man, Kurt Busch is making the worst move of his career by moving from ROUSH RACING to PENSKE... what a stupid move...

Today at Watkins Glen, Kurt placed last among the 5 Roush Racing drivers in 39th, 1 behind Biffle. Kenseth and Carl Edwards finished 18th/19th. Mark Martin carried the flag to 6th. Not looking so good?
Before today's race, Roush drivers were 3rd/Biffle, 5th/Busch, 6th/Martin, 10th/Edwards in the points. If Busch, the reigning champion, leaves a team that runs this good; I think he should get a CAT scan for a brain tumor.

Jack Roush is in his early 70's, but rarely misses sitting on the pit box at a Nascar race. He flies his P-51 Mustang (Roush rocker arms, and other mods) to Daytona.
Roush heads the largest privately owned automotive technology company in the world. 25+ facilities in 15+ states include an engine test facility with 120 dyno cells! He does testing for GM.
If Roush, in his advancing years, were to get pissed off at the state of the World Championships; he could bring formidable technology resources to bear to build a winning car. His huge marketing success in the US would bring huge sponsor dollars to hire a winning driver.
Credit must be given to Cpt. Penske. Before he sold out and ran IRL, for several years he maintained a shop in GB with 30 workers building/baking 8-10 carbon fiber CART Penske chassis yearly.

Kurt Busch is the REIGNING CHAMPION! Is he such a prima donna that he thinks that Biffle's points lead is due only to better equipment? '03 champion Matt Kenseth is mired in double digits but is not whining about it.

Of corse Kurt Busch is whining. Its Busch, thats all he does. Hes like Jeff Gordon, a big baby. They cant go one race without complaining about something.

Yah, but you can't deny he is a good driver.
I am skeptical about McMurry, and when Martin drops in '06 Roush will be down to 4 drivers, (still a big big team), then busch dropping in 07 and mcmurry coming in means they will be without either a #6 or a #97...
Or do youthink they will sign someone to fill one of those spots?

Of course they well bring another driver. They might even bring in Mike Waltrip, do to the fact that hes leaving DEI

Doh! Have none of you Nascar experts heard of the "gong show"; the ongoing Roush Racing test sessions/tryouts of new drivers at Cup tracks? The judges are from different teams. The next test will be at Darlington. The winner might be the next guy in the $#6 car. Hopefully he will not be a whiney boy like K. Busch. Corporate sponsorship/cubic dollars will demand that he not be so.

Guaruntee you Waltrip doesnt get near a Roush car
#1, I dont think he has ever finished in the top 10 of points
#2, Im pretty sure he specifically stated he won't be driving a ford (unless thats another driver im thinking of)
