JGTC Skylines are the most beautiful production car based racers as far as i am concerned. I also like the Mercedes Benz CLK-GTR very much along with the Porsche 911 GT1. They also made road-legal versions of them. 20 units of the Porsche and 25 units of the Benz. So can they be considered as racers based on "real cars"?? If yes i will post their pics too.

Yoy guay are (mostly) very young and tend to choose contemporary cars. That´s fine. Most of your choices are right on the money. I like most of those cars. But what about peeping a little bit into history...it´s interesting and educational.

Except the one in the picture you have is lacking that big, honking supercahrger. Other than that, I say it's a pretty close match.

And I never viewed Shelby as a genius. He's just the most American American who ever lived. He proved that good ol' fashioned American know how is just as good, if not better, than european sophistication. And he makes a damn good chili. I tried one of his recipies, it was awesome.

The Shelby Cobra is based on the AC Ace though. Soooo.. the body is European, and the Power is American. What I get from the Cobra is: 'Can't we all just get along' lol... Europeans design the bodies, Americans provide the engines... it'd be a better world wouldn't it?

Ok I must post this one shelby gt500 I know Eleanor wasn't race car but the original gt 500s were races cars and basicly pulled of the track made street legal and produced. So Eleanor would IMO be the best looking race car

To tell you the truth, I dont have very many. Probably like 5. I have more shots of engines and friends when we go out or something. SCF has a gallery. I consider those ours to look at?

It's just a habbit for me. If I see a good picture i'll save it. It's cost me 1 gig of memory for my photos and 5 gig for my car videos. I've got 52 Top Gear reviews and a heap of Best Motoring japanese vids.
