!! Stole my idea right from me, lol :D
I have absolutely no idea if nissan plans to, (you should ask someone else) but it would be nice to have a stock tt, but i think greddy already made an aftermarket one w/ intercooler, but nissan's might be a little better.....
only if they could lighten it a little...... :)
if nissan did add a tt to the 350z, it would be one helluva car

i don't think that will ever be a stock 350Z with twin turbo. The reason is that would produce at least 400hp and then it would be faster than the Skyline GT-R. So they should build a Skyline with much more hp than 400, say around 550hp (cause Skyline is leader car of Nissan). What i want to say is that the Skyline with the 550hp will be too expensive, and i don't think that they are many people out there that would give a big amount of money to buy a Nissan. . . But these are just my thoughts :)

oh they will, Toyota is planning to relaunch a supra replacement in the near future so if Nissan doesn't it means less market share for them

I don't know if they will make a turbo 350Z, would be sweet but I have a feeling they won't do it.

true; either the skyline comes to the US or nissan puts twin turbo on its 350z, but it would probably be less expensive just to bring the skyline to the US, where they'll remove that japanese speed/power limiter chip
but nissan might still be stubborn and put a tt on a 350z because it's "more fit for the US" or maybe they won't do anything at all, because it would put them right next to the "legendary" corvette of the US (too risky, ppl stick to their vettes) nissan will also have to lighten the 350z a little and make it more sports car-ish ; but competition is good, and i'd like to personally see nissan (/toyota) come out with a stock car that can tear apart a corvette

I dont think nissan will TT the 350z. If they do Turbo anything it will be the Skyline and we will never see the next skyline or a factory turbo VQ35 in the US anyway. Maybe australia will get something.
Japans and america's emmissions laws are getting tighter. Thats why the RB26 will no longer be produced. I beleive the new Supra will be N/A also. The VQ35 kinda sucks compared to the 2JZ or RB25/26 because it has two of everything. You need two turbos, two throttle bodies, two manifolds, etc. ITs rediculous and will cost a ton of money to upgrade. Straight 6 is the way to go. The 350z is a great car to start with but right now isnt a very tunable car. Let nissan pour some more developement into their skyline/VQ35DETT and you will see the 350z and G35 become much more potent vehicles.

Maybe a 1985 Corvette....
Evo and STi mid 13, MAYBE low 13....
Handling and braking are damn close to....
And the Vette don't have any stupid picnic table wings.
'04 vettes, easy mid 12's....and wait to the C6 comes out this summer.

Those tomes are pretty accurate. I' have seen mid to high 12's for the WRX STi in several magazines. Mid 12s for the Z06 is about average. Low 13s for the regular C5. Of course any acceleration test depends a lot on the driver.

High 4's for the WRX STi and Lancer Evo. The Z06 is several tenthes faster than both of them, but they're pretty much equal with the regular C5. This is just based on all the times I have ever seen, same thing with my other post. It's not really possible to give exact times because it will vary, and I haven't seen any comparisons between Corvettes and WRX/Evo.
