View Full Version : BMW M3 CSL VS. Mercedes-Benz SLK 32 AMG

To me this is a good comparison. The SLK 32 AMG outputs i believe 349 horses and the BMW outputs 333 horses, but the power-weight ratio is better with the M3 and it is more sport designed so...

My Choice: M3 CSL

No Compaprision! - The BM twice over. I not a fan of the SLK at all - it looks so ordinary, and plain especially from the front.

The BM is bigger, and faster, more expensive - but its worth it! - its a better car in ever way.

Definitely the M3 CSL. The SLK is nice but only has 2 seats. The M3 is a better car anyway.

As i have already said the CSL is a very special car. It's like Stradale, they r bought for a specific reason. They can't be ur daily cars. If i had the money i would buy the normal M3, cause it can be ur everyday car.

true - but the stradale is completely 100% impractical - no windows FGS; the CSL could pass maybe as a daily car (for the brave anyway)

Id be with you, unless I was horribly rich Id have the M3 - or id might even make do with the 330Ci.

The CSL and the normal doesn't have a big price diff. If anyone can buy the normal he can buy the CSL also.

i like bimmers in general CSL specific ...
and i dont really like Benz .....
not specificly becouse CSL is better!

i think the M3 is soo much better looking as well.

has anyone seen the new SLK - the one that looks a little like the SLR? Personally I dont really like it. But at least it isnt as boring looking as the current SLK.

I doubt that, and this is an old thread....very old, older than my nephew in fact.
