First of all I think that thing is ugly.
Second, I JUST read about that car in Auto Week.
It said it is a CONCEPT with NO chance of production.
Mercedes-Benz wouldn't let them because it would be direct competition
to the SLR, which would be a corporate no no.

hmm i don't know VW is doing it by putting up the Phaeton against the A8 which is in reality a no no, but companies would do it. The car is nice i hope thye do make it looks great

They are having money and magagement issues, it is better since the Damiler merger.
But they still are shaky, so they couldn't really make it if the wanted to.

And it says all over the net that it is just a design exercise, like the Caddy Sixteen.
