Well, for those who wanted thier own style and a ton of value, there was the Scion xA and xB. Parents liked its affordability and it's low insurance premiums as well as the fact that it was a Toyota. Now for those with a little more chas to spare and want to take it to the next level, there's the Scion tC. This little two door compact sports more style than many cars in and above it's price range. You can see Skyling, BMW, Altezza, and other styling ques that all got wickedly placed into this car. It's a good deal under the $20k mark and comes with a zesty 2.4-liter I-4 doner from it's Big Uncle Camry. The name of the game is 160 hp @ a moderate 57000 rpm and 163 lb-ft of torque at a nice low 4k rpm. Later on in production, TRD will offer a supercharger that will kick it up 40 more ponies and really give it some bite. Those who scoffed at the avant garde looks of the previously revealed Scions might take a second look at this offering. It'd like the cool older brother two two much yuonger siblings. For under twenty thousand dollars, you can't beat it for looks for most and you definitly can't beat the value and quality. Score one sure fire hit for the new Scion branch of Toyota!
