Tom Kristensen has got nominated for the title 'International racedriver of the year'. It's the biggest prize you can achive as racedriver.
It's the british periodical 'Autosport', who has made the nomination.
In other, lower nominations we will find Fernando Alonso, and Kimi Raikkonen.
It is especially the seventh Le Mans victory, there has made him deserve the prize. The victory in June this year made him the most winnig person ever on Le Mans, after he have had to 'share' the first place, with Jacky Ickx, for a year.
The victory the in american 12 hour Sebring has also had a matter i the nomiation.
"I'm very proud to be mentioned together with some of the best racedrivers in the world. Normally that prize goes to a Formula 1 driver, so it's distinguished only to be mentioned in this company" Tom kristensen says from lanzarote, where he is keeping the shape for next season.
What and where Tom kristensen is gonna drive in 2006, will be publicated in about a week at the big motorsportsshow in Essen.
