the best car is the Nissan Skyline for sure, without a doubt

I was kinda sad with two things. That A) No Civic Si, only the silly Civic DX or whatever and strangly that B) the Golf wasn't the GTi 1.8T, only the 113 hp Euro version, WTF?! Those crazy twin intake hoods and the scoops on the roofs of the cars don't look that great to me :|

Those crazy twin intake hoods They don't look good and most of the cars, but for me, especially the WRX

I would have to say, from the top of my head, the best cars are the:
1.) S2000
2.) RX-7
3.) Skyline
4.) Mazda Miata
5.) 350z
1. PROS-- The S2000 had awsome turning capabilities for circuit and sprint
CONS-- unfortunately the S2000 doesnt have the ultimate top speed like others
2. PROS-- RX-7 Was best all around because the steering wasn't too sharp as to lose speed while cornering, and the top speed was excellent.
CONS-- Over used on internet games
3. PROS-- Nissan skyline had one of the best top speeds and great handling if used moderately
CONS-- Too much steer in the Skyline and you practiaclly spin out or lose speed
4. PROS-- Mazda Miata had excellent handling, a little tighter than the RX-7
CONS-- Too easy to blow on drag mode.
5. PROS-- 350z's best function was top speed. If all tuned out on a 1/4 mile it did better than the skyline if i remember correctly-Scratch that- just had better top speed.
CONS-- should have had better handling and acceleration.

i think you neglected the skylines accelaration which was great, and the best inj the game, and if anythin the best in drag imo, giving me times 1sec quicker than all of the other cars
i think overall the mx-5 is the best car though, as it is great in all aspects of the game, from the start to the end, and looks good too

Yeh, the Miata is overall the best car, although it does seem to understeer when you add more performance upgrades, bit of a bummer. The RX-7 is very close, although fairly slow in the 1/4 mile.

i think the key to mile drag is acceleration, as i run mile with the skyline in 20secs, around 21 with all of the rest bar the slower "top speed" cars like the 350z which i run about 22secs with.
mx-5 i run around 21.
handling wise i think the rx-7 and golf is great.
looks/modifcation skyline and 350z

I reckon the Skyline is so dificult to modify. Same with the Impreza and the S2K. Just looking at the option available, they just doon't look that good as the other shapes like the Miata or the 350Z.

How are any of the cars hard to modify, it's jus stage 3 and your done :P

I mean as in looks mate, I reckon none of the bodykits really suit the GT-R's bodystyle, while the other cars bodykits suit their shapes. That's what aI'm talking about, not the performance aspect of it.

wtf is the point of roof scoops for a front engined car

wtf is the point of roof scoops for a front engined car
For example in WRC roff scoops are to put fresh air into the car(because it's very hot in the car).

Tell that to the ricers who do that mate. There's plenty out there, trust me. I shake my head at those fools..

its just for looks mate, like not all people have spoilers to help maintain downforce, they just look cool for most cars.

Exactly, ricer style.

i think its a bit hard to say "ricer", since you get cars with spoilers, roof scoops, bodykits, and no engine mods in max power, and if you think the feature cars of max power are rice, i think its bias towards modified cars

Hmm...I think any car which is highly modified on the outside without a acceptable deal of engine mods can be described as 'rice'. Having a $10K bodykit with only an air filter a muffler, with people say that is the extent of the mods, in in my belief unacceptable. Having a nice equality between looks and 'go' is the way. And I would think a majority of feature cars there are 'all how and no go' right? That's another reason why it might not have engine mods. But then again, looking in the engine bay of a 'best car of the show' which doesn't have a great deal of detailing or some power hanging off it is a bit disappointing don't you think?!
