Im inheriting an MKIII jetta in the next couple months, and after having sat in my friends car with racing seats, i must say, i gotsta get me some.

The interior is beige, and i want some nice comfortable seats that at minimum partly match the interior (i.e. beige/black)

Ive seen the Recaro and the Sparco, models and im looking for something a bit cheaper since i want em more for comfort than racing performance or w.e.

Lastly, id obviously like them to be suede/fabric type material, not vinyl (partly vinyl is fine) to match the interior..

Any suggestions, comments, ideas etc.. are greatly appreciated!

THanks, cesar

Since you are looking for comfort, why bother with racing seats??
Go for a nice soft comfortable leather seat...

These cobra's are nice. Ive noticed youve mentioned my search for comfort over performance. And the reason that ive come to bucket/racing seats, is because of theire design and the way they sit, makes for a more comfortable ride.

Price is definitely #1 here, do any of you know of any good deals on some of these Cobra's?

Thanks, Cesar

I still can't understand how racing seats can be more comfortable. :?

I'm planning to install two leather Recaro seats on my car from the Audi TT 3.2L, the color is dark red like the interior of my car. Anyway, back on topic, racing/buckets seats are not comfortable, they may hold your body when u r speeding but for sure they r not comfortable for long rides/trips.

ive never been in one (now isnt that sad  )...but my 'theory' would be that racing seats are only comfy for the twisties...and are a biotch when driving in straight lines :D

and if you want sth for straight lines...get this :D http://www.cobraseats.com/item.asp?pg=RD&id=CLA

I just installed a Bride Zeta III today!
http://www.tees-usa.com/zeta3.html

i'll post some pics perhaps once i get them online. very exciting. i knew it was going to be snug, but i didn't realize HOW snug it would be! i love them. they're full buckets, so no matter how hard i corner i'm not moving anywhere. and i think they're comfy in any situation. the only thing is it's pretty damn low, so i'm gonna have to get used to that. i put it on the highest setting, and i'm sitting like almost 2 inches lower than the stock seat, so i had to adjust all the mirrors and stuff.
