GT will beat the Viper and Z06 in all aspects (cept braking for Viper) but value, also thats not the Ford aim target, it's head to head with the new Lambo Gallardo and the 360 Modena.

The Cobra R is out of porduction, and the Lightning is still on rumors, maybe a 5.4 3V Triton with a blower making roughlt the same numbers as the DOHC Cobra GT.

Get some facts straight and point out some, everyone knows about the Ford GT, thats old news, it's great, old news too (still great tho).

and the GT is probably pretty good, isn't it's 0-60 like 3.3 secs, and capable of 200 mph +

same (acceleration) as saleen S7 :twisted: and a whole lot cheaper

While those are the stats that Car and Driver got, the Saleen should be a bit less than half a second faster in 0-60, and about the same in the quarter mile.

I would choose a SRT-10 over a Lightning. But the Lightning is alot more cheaper in price.

Actually they might, they are making the 5.4 push 600 smog legal hp so a detuned version with 500hp will work uder the truck.

Also, they are proving a 5.4 24V Supercharger, that's more than enough for 500hp if they reinforce the bottom end so i guess they will come out with somethig.

The SRT-10 is brand new product, the Gen 2 lightning has been here some time, and even then the Lightning does pretty good against the SRT-10.

I agree with that. The Gen 2 Lightning is starting to age. Not that i Don't still love it, but it's been a few years. Just wait till the next lightning. The Gen 1 had a N/A 351, and ran low 15's. The Gen 2 does high 13's. So wouldn't it make sense that the next generation lightning will be quicker still?
