I'm thinking of making a GP manager 2004 on this forum. You get €100.000.000, and you create your'e own team. Every race you get points, for the results from you're team, and who has the most points at the end of the season wins.

Now i want to know if you guys think it's a good idea, because it's quite a lot work to keep it all up. If there are enough guys who wants to do this(i'm thinking of minimum 5 or something), i will go further with it

Well, the drivers get points for theyre prestation, the engine, the chassis and the tyres. So if you're driver wins, you will receive more points then the second driver.

But i'm still working on translating the rules(i have them already in Dutch), so you will them later.

good idea really - but im not sure if youll be able to do that by yourslef!
I think Yahoo (or someone like that) has a GP manager - so we could all register with that and then compare the scores here...

I was thinking this already. But i didn't find any priceless GP Managers. That's the reason i wanteed to do it by myself. But if there is anyone who can find a priceless GP manager, we must do that.

I will give an example:

you get always €100.000.000. You may not make a team that costs more then the money you have. so you will never be able to choose only the best, like McLaren, Ferrari etc.
Then you're going to choose two drivers, a chassis, an engine and tyres.

Example:
Driver 1: Heidfeld €18.000.000
Driver 2: Panis €19.000.000
Chassis: Sauber €18.000.000
Engine: Toyota €18.000.000
Tyres: Michelin € 3.000.000
+-----------------
Total: €76.000.000
(the prices are based on the final results from 2003)

Now you have a team the first race in Australia can start.

The drivers:
- their starting place,
- their finishing position,
- if they race the quickest lap in the race,
- if they finish they get points,
- points for the places they won in the race,
- minpoints for the places they lost in the race
- minpoints for a stop&go penalty
- minpoints for a DNF
- the second driver in real, can get points if he finishes before the first driver in the team(so if barrichello finishes before schumacher he get points)

The engine:
- the starting position of the real drivers.
- the finishing position of the real drivers
- if one of the real drivers drives the quickest lap
- if they finish
- minpoints for a DNF with engine problems(engine, gearbox, transmission, oil leak,
clutch and fuel pressure)
Note: you get twice points, because an engine is in two cars.

The chassis:
- the starting position of the real drivers.
- the finishing position of the real drivers
- if they finish
- minpoints for a DNF with chassis problems(brakes, hydraulics, suspension, out of fuel, mechanical, steering, handling, electrics and a disqualification)

Tyres:
- pole position
- victory
- quickest lap
