For those members who live in the vicinity of Central Texas, there is a meet going on for primarily Nissan (and Infiiniti) enthusiasts in Kerrville, TX. Its been dubbed the Raging Bull Texas Stampede. Why?

"The Raging Bull embodies some of the most challenging and scenic backcountry roads in the great state of Texas.

It will take you through twists, turns, dips and peaks...you'll have to work hard to keep yourself from being thrown off of the Raging Bull.

The harder you ride it, the harder it will try to throw you off of its back.

We'll ride this bull for 450 miles before getting off and going home."

It should be intense. I'm going to try to be there if only to spectate.. probably just show up for an hour or two.. who knows, I might even try to join in. The course is split up over two days on Sat. (300 miles) and Sunday (150 miles), so come for one day or make reservations at the Y.O. hotel and stay for both, its up to you.

That sounds like a lot of fun. Too bad I'm in PA.

So do you have to follow the speed limits, because it said its not a race and no irradical driving. But they said they are driving their cars the way they were meant to be driven. So I am wondering if you have to follow speed limits. I would assume not, any info?

I don't know if you have to follow the limits, they are just trying to avoid irresponsible and dangerous driving. (ie all over the road)

Dunno. I emailed the tourmaster and asked him a few questions.. I think I probably could. I don't see why he would care. If that doesn't pan out there is always the AutoX rally at College Station on Sunday.
