anyone into this? i'm sure you've seen at least a few of the races, blucamss!
just wanted to start a thread on the World Challenge. the upcoming 2004 season has tons more domestics in it. i think it's better this way with more of a variety. past seasons were mostly all japanese imports in TC. GT however has many more domestics, seeing as how most good american cars are over the 2.8L limit for TC! i'm still rootin' for my favorites, RealTime Racing, although i'm disappointed Cunningham went Nissan Sentra SE-R. i wonder if kleinubing is gonna stick with the RSX-S's??

for the GT class i'm rootin' for the Champion Racing RS-6's. sweet cars.

what's it all about? is it like a stock car race? what are the rules? :D

basically your standard race based on stock cars. a lot of it is promotion for vehicles on the market. the "Touring Car" class cars have to be 2.8L or less, no forced induction, and must have 4-seats available in stock version. the "Grand Touring" class cars i believe anything goes, except for each car they make restrictions or leeway to even out the playing field. for instance bmw 328's vs 2.0L mazda proteges and 1.6L civics in the TC, so they'll put either extra weight on the bimmers, or restrict the intake. stuff like that. and if you win a race, they put extra weight in your car per race you win. makes it more competitive. the new season starts in a couple months I believe. last year in the TC, a BMW 325 won, and in GT an audi RS6.
